Thine heart shall meditate terror: “Where is the scribe? Where is the receiver? Where is he that counted the towers?”
Thy heart shall muse on the terror: Where is he that counted, where is he that weighed the tribute? where is he that counted the towers?
Your mind will meditate on the terror [asking]: “Where is he who counts? Where is he who weighs [the tribute]? Where is he who counts the towers?”

Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
Your mind will meditate on the past terror: “Where is the accountant? Where is the tribute collector? Where is the one who spied out our defenses?”
in dismay you will think: Where is the one who counts? Where is the one who weighs? Where is the one who counts towers?
Your mind will meditate on the terror: “Where is the man who did the counting? Where is the man who did the weighing? Where is the man who numbered the towers?”
Then you will ask yourself, “Where are those officials who terrified us and forced us to pay such heavy taxes?”
Thy heart shall meditate on terror: Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
Thy heart shall meditate fear: where is the learned? where is he that pondereth the words of the law? where is the teacher of little ones?
When you think about the troubles you had in the past, you will wonder, “Where are those foreigners who spoke languages we could not understand. Where are the officials and tax collectors from other lands? Where are the spies who counted our defense towers?”
Then you will think about the time when you were afraid. You will say, ‘Where is the enemy's important officer? Where is the officer that we paid taxes to? Where is the officer who counted our strong buildings? They are no longer here to give us trouble!’
Your heart will think about the past terrors. You will think, “Where is the one who took the inventory? Where is the one who weighed the silver? Where is the one who counted the towers?”
Your heart will muse on the terror: “Where is he who counted, where is he who weighed the tribute? Where is he who counted the towers?”
Your heart will muse on the terror: “Where is he who counted, where is he who weighed the tribute? Where is he who counted the towers?”

Your mind will be thinking of the terrors ⌞in the past⌟. Where are the scribes? Where are the tax collectors? Where are those who counted the towers?
Your old fears of foreign tax collectors and spies will be only a memory.
Your mind will meditate on the past terror: “Where is the accountant? Where is the tribute collector? Where is the one who spied out our defenses?”
You will think about the terror of the past. You will think, “Where is that officer? Where is the one who collected the taxes? Where is the officer in charge of our defense towers?”
Your mind will ponder at that time of terror: ‘Where is the king’s accountant? Where is the one who weighed the revenue? Where is the officer who supervises the towers?’
Thine heart shall imagine the terror. Where is the scribe? Where is the receiver of tribute? Where is he that counted the towers?

Your mind will think back to this time of terror when the Assyrian officers outside your walls are counting your towers and estimating how much they will get from your fallen city.
Oh, you’ll see the king—a beautiful sight! And you’ll take in the wide vistas of land. In your mind you’ll go over the old terrors: “What happened to that Assyrian inspector who condemned and confiscated? And the one who gouged us of taxes? And that cheating moneychanger?” Gone! Out of sight forever! Their insolence nothing now but a fading stain on the carpet! No more putting up with a language you can’t understand, no more sounds of gibberish in your ears.
Your heart shall meditate on terror: “Where is he who counts? Where is he who weighs? Where is he who counts the towers?”
Your mind will be thinking of the terrors in the past. Where are the scribes? Where are the tax collectors? Where are those who counted the towers?
Your mind will dwell on the terror: “Where is the one who counted, where the one who weighed? Where the one who counted the towers?”
Your heart will meditate on terror: “Where is one who counts? Where is one who weighs? Where is one who counts the towers?”

Your mind will then meditate on the terror. “Where is the man who did the counting? Where is the man who weighed the tribute? Where is the man who counted the towers?”

Your mind will recall the terror you experienced, and you will ask yourselves, “Where is the scribe? Where is the one who weighs the money? Where is the one who counts the towers?”
You will think about what used to terrify you. You will say to yourself, “Where is that chief officer of Assyria? Where is the one who forced us to send gifts to his king? Where is the officer in charge of the towers that were used when we were attacked?”
In your thoughts you will ponder the former terror: “Where is that chief officer? Where is the one who took the revenue? Where is the officer in charge of the towers?”
