For it shall be that as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
For it shall be that, as wandering birds, as a scattered nest, so shall the daughters of Moab be at the fords of the Arnon.
For like wandering birds or scattered nestlings, The daughters of Moab will be at the fords of the [river] Arnon.
For like wandering birds, like a brood cast out and a scattered nest, so shall the daughters of Moab be at the fords of the [river] Arnon.
For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
Like a bird fleeing, forced from the nest, the daughters of Moab will be at the fords of the Arnon.
The daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon are like orphaned birds pushed from the nest.
The daughters of Mo’av at the fords of the Arnon are like fluttering birds pushed from the nest.
The women of Moab crossing the Arnon River are like a flock of birds scattered from their nests.
And it shall be [that] as a wandering bird, [as] a scattered nest, so shall the daughters of Moab be at the fords of the Arnon.
And it shall come to pass, that as a bird fleeing away, and as young ones flying out of the nest, so shall the daughters of Moab be in the passage of Arnon.
The women of Moab try to cross the river Arnon. They run around looking for help, like little birds that have fallen from their nest.
Moab's women are standing at the shore of Arnon river. They want to go across. They are like birds that people have chased out of their nests.
At the fords of the Arnon, the daughters of Moab will be like birds fleeing from a scattered nest.
Like fleeing birds, like a scattered nest, so are the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.
Like fleeing birds, like a scattered nest, so are the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.
The women of Moab ·try to cross the river [L at the fords of] Arnon like little birds ·that have fallen [or pushed away; or scattered] from their nest.
For it shall be as a bird that flieth, and a nest forsaken: the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
Moab’s daughters are like fluttering birds, like scattered nestlings, at the shallow crossings of the Arnon River.
They wait on the banks of the Arnon River and move aimlessly back and forth, like birds driven from their nest.
Like a bird fleeing, forced from the nest, the daughters of Moab will be at the fords of the Arnon.
The women of Moab try to cross the river Arnon. They are like little birds that have fallen from their nest.
Like fluttering birds, like an abandoned nest, so are the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon River.
For it shall be that as a wandering bird cast out of the nest so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.

And this shall be: like a bird fleeing from a thrust away nest shall be the daughters of Moab at the fords of Arnon.
The women of Moab are left at the fords of the Arnon River like homeless birds.
“Dispatch a gift of lambs,” says Moab, “to the leaders in Jerusalem— Lambs from Sela sent across the desert to buy the goodwill of Jerusalem. The towns and people of Moab are at a loss, New-hatched birds knocked from the nest, fluttering helplessly At the banks of the Arnon River, unable to cross: ‘Tell us what to do, help us out! Protect us, hide us! Give the refugees from Moab sanctuary with you. Be a safe place for those on the run from the killing fields.’” “When this is all over,” Judah answers, “the tyrant toppled, The killing at an end, all signs of these cruelties long gone, A new government of love will be established in the venerable David tradition. A Ruler you can depend upon will head this government, A Ruler passionate for justice, a Ruler quick to set things right.” * * *

Then, like fluttering birds or scattered nestlings, The daughters of Moab will be at the crossing places of the Arnon.
Then, like fleeing birds or scattered nestlings, The daughters of Moab will be at the fords of the Arnon.
Like fluttering birds, like scattered nestlings, are the women of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.
The women of Moab try to cross the river Arnon like little birds that have fallen from their nest.
At the fords of the Arnon the Moabite women are like a bird that flies about when forced from its nest.
The women of Moab are at the places where people go across the Arnon River. They are like birds that flap their wings when they are pushed from their nest.
Like fluttering birds pushed from the nest, so are the women of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.
Like fluttering birds pushed from the nest, so are the women of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.
For it shall be as a wandering bird thrown out of the nest; So shall be the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.
Then, like birds driven from their nest, the people of Moab will be where the Arnon River can be crossed.
The women of Moab are left like homeless birds at the shallow crossings of the Arnon River.
Like fluttering birds, like scattered nestlings, so are the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.
Like fluttering birds, like scattered nestlings, so are the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.
Like fluttering birds, like scattered nestlings, so are the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.

For it shall be, that, as an oph noded (wandering bird) cast out of the ken (nest), so the Banot Moav shall be at the fords of the Arnon.
Like fluttering birds, like scattered nestlings, so are the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.
Like fluttering birds, like scattered nestlings, so are the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.
For like fluttering birds, scattered from a nest, so will the daughters of Moab be at the fords of Arnon.
And indeed like birds whose homes were demolished, like baby birds torn from their nests, Moab’s daughters, scattered and fluttering, arrive at the fords, ready to cross the Arnon River.
For it will be that as wandering birds, as a scattered nest, so will the daughters of Moab be at the fords of the Arnon.
And it shall be, as a fowl flying, and (as) birds flying away from the nest, so shall be the daughters of Moab, in the passing over of Arnon. (And it shall be, that like a flying bird, and like birds flying away from the nest, so shall be the daughters of Moab at the fords, or on the banks, of the Arnon River.)
And it hath come to pass, As a wandering bird, a nest cast out, Are daughters of Moab, [at] fords of Arnon.
