Isaiah 38:13
I reckoned till morning that, as a lion, so will He break all my bones; from day even to night wilt Thou make an end of me.”
I quieted myself until morning; as a lion, so he breaketh all my bones: From day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.

I try to be strong like a lion till morning, but still my illness breaks all my bones — between day and night you could finish me off.

All night I cried as loud as a lion, but my hopes were crushed like a lion eating bones. You finished my life in such a short time.
I waited until morning would come. It seemed like God was breaking all my bones, like a lion does. As quickly as day becomes night, God brings my life to an end.
I pondered this until the morning. He will break all my bones like a lion! From day until night, you make an end of me.

“All night I moaned; it was like being torn apart by lions.
This is what Hezekiah king of Judah wrote after he’d been sick and then recovered from his sickness: In the very prime of life I have to leave. Whatever time I have left is spent in death’s waiting room. No more glimpses of God in the land of the living, No more meetings with my neighbors, no more rubbing shoulders with friends. This body I inhabit is taken down and packed away like a camper’s tent. Like a weaver, I’ve rolled up the carpet of my life as God cuts me free of the loom And at day’s end sweeps up the scraps and pieces. I cry for help until morning. Like a lion, God pummels and pounds me, relentlessly finishing me off. I squawk like a doomed hen, moan like a dove. My eyes ache from looking up for help: “Master, I’m in trouble! Get me out of this!” But what’s the use? God himself gave me the word. He’s done it to me. I can’t sleep— I’m that upset, that troubled.
I composed my soul until morning, like a lion, so He breaks all my bones; from day even to night You make an end of me.

From the morrowtide till to the eventide (I felt like) thou shalt end me; I hoped till to the morrowtide; as a lion, so he all-brake my bones. From the morrowtide till to the eventide (I felt like) thou shalt end me; (From the morning until the evening I felt like thou shalt end me; then I was in pain until the morning again; like a lion, thou hast broken all my bones. From the morning until the evening I felt like thou shalt end me;)
I have set [Him] till morning as a lion, So doth He break all my bones, From day unto night Thou dost end me.
