James 2:22

Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
Thou seest that faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect;
You see that [his] faith was working together with his works, and as a result of the works, his faith was completed [reaching its maturity when he expressed his faith through obedience].
You see that [his] faith was cooperating with his works, and [his] faith was completed and reached its supreme expression [when he implemented it] by [good] works.
Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
You see that faith was active together with his works, and by works, faith was made complete,
See, his faith was at work along with his actions. In fact, his faith was made complete by his faithful actions.
You see that his faith worked with his actions; by the actions the faith was made complete;
Now you see how Abraham's faith and deeds worked together. He proved his faith was real by what he did.
Thou seest that faith wrought with his works, and that by works faith was perfected.
Do you see that faith was working-with his works, and the faith was perfected by the works?
Seest thou, that faith did co-operate with his works; and by works faith was made perfect?
So you see that Abraham’s faith and what he did worked together. His faith was made perfect by what he did.
Abraham believed in God, and he did what God asked him to do. So you can see that both of these were necessary. When he did this good thing, he showed that he believed in God completely.
You see that his faith was working together with his works, and by his works his faith was shown to be complete.
You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works;
You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works;
So you see that Abraham’s faith and ·the things he did [his works] worked together. His faith was made ·perfect [complete] by ·what he did [his works].
Seest thou not that the faith wrought with his works? and through the works was the faith made perfect.
You see that Abraham’s faith and what he did worked together. His faith was shown to be genuine by what he did.
Can't you see? His faith and his actions worked together; his faith was made perfect through his actions.
You see that faith was active together with his works, and by works, faith was perfected.
So you see that Abraham’s faith and the things he did worked together. His faith was made perfect by what he did.
You see that his faith worked together with what he did, and by his actions his faith was made complete.
Now what use is it, my brothers, for a man to say he “has faith” if his actions do not correspond with it? Could that sort of faith save anyone’s soul? If a fellow man or woman has no clothes to wear and nothing to eat, and one of you say, “Good luck to you I hope you’ll keep warm and find enough to eat”, and yet give them nothing to meet their physical needs, what on earth is the good of that? Yet that is exactly what a bare faith without a corresponding life is like—useless and dead. If we only “have faith” a man could easily challenge us by saying, “you say that you have faith and I have merely good actions. Well, all you can do is to show me a faith without corresponding actions, but I can show you by my actions that I have faith as well.” To the man who thinks that faith by itself is enough I feel inclined to say, “So you believe that there is one God? That’s fine. So do all the devils in hell and shudder in terror!” For, my dear short-sighted man, can’t you see far enough to realise that faith without the right actions is dead and useless? Think of Abraham, our ancestor. Wasn’t it his action which really justified him in God’s sight when his faith led him to offer his son Isaac on the altar? Can’t you see that his faith and his actions were, so to speak, partners—that his faith was implemented by his deed? That is what the scripture means when it says: ‘Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. And he was called the friend of God.’
Dost thou not see how the faith worked together with his works, and the faith was complete by the works?
Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
You see that faith was working with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected.
You see that faith was working together with his works, and by the works the faith was perfected.
You see, he was trusting God so much that he was willing to do whatever God told him to; his faith was made complete by what he did—by his actions, his good deeds.
Wasn’t our ancestor Abraham “made right with God by works” when he placed his son Isaac on the sacrificial altar? Isn’t it obvious that faith and works are yoked partners, that faith expresses itself in works? That the works are “works of faith”? The full meaning of “believe” in the Scripture sentence, “Abraham believed God and was set right with God,” includes his action. It’s that weave of believing and acting that got Abraham named “God’s friend.” Is it not evident that a person is made right with God not by a barren faith but by faith fruitful in works?
Do you see how faith worked with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
You see that · faith was at work along with · his works and that his faith was made complete by his works.
You see that Abraham’s faith and what he did worked together. His faith was shown to be genuine by what he did.
You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by the works.
You see that faith was working with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected;
You see that faith was working with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected;
Thus, you can see that his faith and his works were active together; his faith was brought to completion by works.
So you see that Abraham’s faith and the things he did worked together. His faith was made perfect by what he did.
You see that his faith was working together with his works and his faith was perfected by works.
So you see that what he believed and what he did were working together. What he did made his faith complete.
You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.
You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.
Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
You see his faith working by what he did and his faith was made perfect by what he did.
You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete.
You see that faith operated with his deeds, and through the deeds, the faith was made perfect.
You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was brought to completion by the works.
You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was brought to completion by the works.
You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was brought to completion by the works.
You see that faith was active along with his works, and by works faith was brought to completion.
You can see from this that faith was working together with the works, and the faith reached its fulfillment through the works.
Hinei! While Avraham Avinu’s Emunah was working, working right alongside was Avraham Avinu’s Ma’asim, and by Ma’asim the emunah was made shleimah!
Do you not see that faith worked with his works? And through works was faith made perfect.
You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by works,
You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by works,
You see that faith worked together with his works, and by the works his faith was made complete.
The faith in his heart was made known in his behavior. In fact, his commitment was perfected by his obedience.
You see that faith worked with his works, and by works faith was perfected.
You can see he believed. His faith and the things he did worked together. His believing was made all right because he did something.
Therefore thou seest, that faith wrought with his works, and his faith was filled of works [and his faith was fulfilled of works].
dost thou see that the faith was working with his works, and out of the works the faith was perfected?
