Come now, ye that say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a city and continue there a year, and buy and sell and get gain”;
Come now, ye that say, To-day or to-morrow we will go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and get gain:
Come now [and pay attention to this], you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and carry on our business and make a profit.”
Come now, you who say, Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a city and spend a year there and carry on our business and make money.
Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will travel to such and such a city and spend a year there and do business and make a profit.”
Pay attention, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such-and-such a town. We will stay there a year, buying and selling, and making a profit.”
Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such-and-such a city, stay there a year trading and make a profit”!
You should know better than to say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to the city. We will do business there for a year and make a lot of money!”
Go to now, ye who say, To-day or to-morrow will we go into such a city and spend a year there, and traffic and make gain,
Come now, the ones saying “Today or tomorrow we will travel to such-and-such city and do a year there, and we will do-business and make-a-gain”—
But who art thou that judgest thy neighbour? Behold, now you that say: To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and there we will spend a year, and will traffic, and make our gain.
Some of you say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to some city. We will stay there a year, do business, and make money.” Listen, think about this:
Some of you say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to a certain city. We will stay there for a year. We will buy and sell things, and we will become rich.’ If you say things like that, listen to me.
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into this or that city, spend a year there, do business, and make a profit.”
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”—
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”—

Pay attention to this! You’re saying, “Today or tomorrow we will go into some city, stay there a year, conduct business, and make money.”
Now listen to me, you that say, “Today or tomorrow we will travel to a certain city, where we will stay a year and go into business and make a lot of money.”
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will travel to such and such a city and spend a year there and do business and make a profit.”
Some of you say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to some city. We will stay there a year, do business, and make money.”
Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a town, stay there a year, conduct business, and make money.”
Just a moment, now, you who say, “We are going to such-and-such a city today or tomorrow. We shall stay there a year doing business and make a profit”! How do you know what will happen even tomorrow? What, after all, is your life? It is like a puff of smoke visible for a little while and then dissolving into thin air. Your remarks should be prefaced with, “If it is the Lord’s will, we shall be alive and will do so-and-so.” As it is, you get a certain pride in yourself in planning your future with such confidence. That sort of pride is all wrong. No doubt you agree with the above in theory. Well, remember that if a man knows what is right and fails to do it, his failure is a real sin.
Come now, ye that say, Today and tomorrow we will go into such a city and continue there a year and buy and sell and get gain;

Look here, you people who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to such and such a town, stay there a year, and open up a profitable business.”
And now I have a word for you who brashly announce, “Today—at the latest, tomorrow—we’re off to such and such a city for the year. We’re going to start a business and make a lot of money.” You don’t know the first thing about tomorrow. You’re nothing but a wisp of fog, catching a brief bit of sun before disappearing. Instead, make it a habit to say, “If the Master wills it and we’re still alive, we’ll do this or that.”
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into this city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit,”
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to some · city and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.”
Pay attention to this! You’re saying, “Today or tomorrow we will go into some city, stay there a year, conduct business, and make money.”
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we shall go into such and such a town, spend a year there doing business, and make a profit”—
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.”
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.”
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we shall head off to this or that town and spend a year doing business there and making money.”
Some of you say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to some city. We will stay there a year, do business, and make money.”
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into this or that town and spend a year there and do business and make a profit.”
Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city. We will spend a year there. We will buy and sell and make money.”
Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”
Now listen, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.’
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”;
Listen! You who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this city and stay a year and make money.”
Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.”

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into a certain city and continue there a year and buy and sell and gain a profit.”
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and get gain”;
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and get gain”;

Listen carefully, those of you who make your plans and say, “We are traveling to this city in the next few days. We’ll stay there for one year while our business explodes and revenue is up.”
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.”
Listen to me! You say, `Today or tomorrow we will go to that town. We will stay there a year. We will buy and sell and get rich.' But you do not know what will happen to you tomorrow.
Lo! now ye, that say, To day either to morrow [To day or to morrow] we shall go into that city, and there we shall dwell a year, and we shall make merchandise, and we shall make winning;
Go, now, ye who are saying, `To-day and to-morrow we will go on to such a city, and will pass there one year, and traffic, and make gain;'
