James 2:6

But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you and drag you before the judgment seats?
But ye have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you, and themselves drag you before the judgment-seats?
But you [in contrast] have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress and exploit you, and personally drag you into the courts of law?
But you [in contrast] have insulted (humiliated, dishonored, and shown your contempt for) the poor. Is it not the rich who domineer over you? Is it not they who drag you into the law courts?
But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
Yet you have dishonored the poor. Don’t the rich oppress you and drag you into court?
But you have dishonored the poor. Don’t the wealthy make life difficult for you? Aren’t they the ones who drag you into court?
But you despise the poor! Aren’t the rich the ones who oppress you and drag you into court?
You mistreat the poor. But isn't it the rich who boss you around and drag you off to court?
But *ye* have despised the poor [man]. Do not the rich oppress you, and [do not] *they* drag you before [the] tribunals?
But you dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and themselves drag you into courts?
But you have dishonoured the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you by might? and do not they draw you before the judgment seats?
But you show no respect to those who are poor. And you know that the rich are the ones who always try to control your lives. And they are the ones who take you to court.
But you have not been kind to people who are poor. You have caused them to feel ashamed. Who causes you to have troubles? It is the rich people! They are the people who want the judges to punish you.
But you dishonored the poor man. Don’t the rich oppress you, and don’t they drag you into court?
But you have dishonored the poor man. Are not the rich the ones who oppress you, and the ones who drag you into court?
But you have dishonoured the poor man. Are not the rich the ones who oppress you, and the ones who drag you into court?
But you ·show no respect to [dishonor; have insulted] the poor. ·The rich are always trying to control your lives. They are the ones who take you to court [L Don’t the rich exploit/oppress you and drag you into court?].
But ye have despised the poor. Do not the rich oppress you by tyranny, and do they not draw you before the judgment seats?
Yet, you show no respect to poor people. Don’t rich people oppress you and drag you into court?
But you dishonor the poor! Who are the ones who oppress you and drag you before the judges? The rich!
Yet you dishonored that poor man. Don’t the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts?
But you show no respect to the poor man. And you know that it is the rich who are always trying to control your lives. And they are the ones who take you to court.
But you have humiliated the man who is poor. Are not rich people the ones who oppress you and drag you into court?
Don’t ever attempt, my brothers, to combine snobbery with faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ! Suppose one man comes into your meeting well-dressed and with a gold ring on his finger, and another man, obviously poor, arrives in shabby clothes. If you pay special attention to the well-dressed man by saying, “Please sit here—it’s an excellent seat”, and say to the poor man, “You stand over there, please, or if you must sit, sit on the floor”, doesn’t that prove that you are making class-distinctions in your mind, and setting yourselves up to assess a man’s quality?—a very bad thing. For do notice, my brothers, that God chose poor men, whose only wealth was their faith, and made them heirs to the kingdom promised to those who love him. And if you behave as I have suggested, it is the poor man that you are insulting. Look around you. Isn’t it the rich who are always trying to “boss” you, isn’t it the rich who drag you into litigation? Isn’t it usually the rich who blaspheme the glorious name by which you are known?
But ye have despised the poor. Do not the rich oppress you with tyranny and draw you with violence to the courts?
But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you and they themselves drag you into court?
But you have dishonored the poor! Are not the rich exploiting you and they themselves dragging you into the courts?
And yet, of the two strangers, you have despised the poor man. Don’t you realize that it is usually the rich men who pick on you and drag you into court?
Listen, dear friends. Isn’t it clear by now that God operates quite differently? He chose the world’s down-and-out as the kingdom’s first citizens, with full rights and privileges. This kingdom is promised to anyone who loves God. And here you are abusing these same citizens! Isn’t it the high and mighty who exploit you, who use the courts to rob you blind? Aren’t they the ones who scorn the new name—“Christian”—used in your baptisms?
But you have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you and drag you before the judgment seats?
But you have dishonored the poor! Is it not the rich who oppress you? And are not they the ones who drag you into court?
Yet, you show no respect to poor people. Don’t rich people oppress you and drag you into court?
But you dishonored the poor person. Are not the rich oppressing you? And do they themselves not haul you off to court?
But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you and personally drag you into court?
But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you and personally drag you into court?
But you have humiliated the poor man. Furthermore, is it not the rich who oppress you? Are they not the ones who drag you into court?
But you show no respect to the poor. The rich are always trying to control your lives. They are the ones who take you to court.
But you have dishonored the poor! Are not the rich oppressing you and dragging you into the courts?
But you have disrespected poor people. Aren’t rich people taking advantage of you? Aren’t they dragging you into court?
But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court?
But you have dishonoured the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court?
But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts?
You have not shown respect to the poor man. Is it not the rich men who make it hard for you and take you to court?
But you dishonor the poor! Isn’t it the rich who oppress you and drag you into court?
But you have dishonoured the poor. Are not the rich those who oppress you, and who draw you before judges?
But you have dishonoured the poor. Is it not the rich who oppress you? Is it not they who drag you into court?
But you have dishonoured the poor. Is it not the rich who oppress you? Is it not they who drag you into court?
But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who oppress you? Is it not they who drag you into court?
But you have dishonored the poor person. Is it not the rich who oppress you? Is it not they who drag you into the courts?
But you have dishonored the poor man. After all, who are the rich? The rich are the ones who lord it over you and drag you into court, aren’t they?
But you dishonored the ish evyon (poor man, pauper). Do not the oishirim (rich ones) oppress you and they drag you into the Batei Din (Bet Din courts)?
But you have despised the poor. Do not the rich oppress you by tyranny? And do they not draw you before the judgment seats?
But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you, is it not they who drag you into court?
But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you, is it not they who drag you into court?
But you have dishonored the poor person. Isn’t it the rich who oppress you and drag you into court?
By favoring the rich, you have mocked the poor. And, correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it the rich who step on you while climbing the ladder of success? And isn’t it the rich who take advantage of you and drag you into court?
But you have dishonored the poor man. Don’t the rich oppress you, and personally drag you before the courts?
But you made the poor man ashamed. Is it not the rich people who trouble you? Are not they the ones who take you to court?
But ye have despised the poor man. Whether rich men oppress not you by power, and they draw you to dooms [and draw you to dooms]?
and ye did dishonour the poor one; do not the rich oppress you and themselves draw you to judgment-seats;
