James 2:7

Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by which ye are called?
Do not they blaspheme the honorable name by which ye are called?
Do they not blaspheme the precious name [of Christ] by which you are called?
Is it not they who slander and blaspheme that precious name by which you are distinguished and called [the name of Christ invoked in baptism]?
Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
Don’t they blaspheme the good name that was invoked over you?
Aren’t they the ones who insult the good name spoken over you at your baptism?
Aren’t they the ones who insult the good name of Him to whom you belong?
Aren't they the ones who make fun of your Lord?
And [do not] *they* blaspheme the excellent name which has been called upon you?
Do not they blaspheme the good name having been called upon you?
Do not they blaspheme the good name that is invoked upon you?
And the rich are the ones who insult the wonderful name of Christ, the name by which you are known.
It is the rich people who say bad things against the good name of Jesus Christ. And you are called Christians because you belong to him.
Aren’t they the ones who blaspheme the noble name that was pronounced over you?
Are they not the ones who blaspheme the honorable name by which you were called?
Are they not the ones who blaspheme the honourable name by which you were called?
·And they are the ones who speak against Jesus, who owns you [or Don’t they slander the noble/good name by which you were called? L Don’t they blaspheme the noble/good name that was invoked over you? C The “name” may be the person’s name or the name of Jesus, to whom they belong].
Do not they blaspheme the worthy Name after which ye be named?
Don’t they curse the good name ⌞of Jesus⌟, the name that was used to bless you?
They are the ones who speak evil of that good name which has been given to you.
Don’t they blaspheme the noble name that was pronounced over you at your baptism?
They are the ones who say bad things against Jesus, who owns you.
Are not they the ones who blaspheme the noble Name by which you have been called?
Don’t ever attempt, my brothers, to combine snobbery with faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ! Suppose one man comes into your meeting well-dressed and with a gold ring on his finger, and another man, obviously poor, arrives in shabby clothes. If you pay special attention to the well-dressed man by saying, “Please sit here—it’s an excellent seat”, and say to the poor man, “You stand over there, please, or if you must sit, sit on the floor”, doesn’t that prove that you are making class-distinctions in your mind, and setting yourselves up to assess a man’s quality?—a very bad thing. For do notice, my brothers, that God chose poor men, whose only wealth was their faith, and made them heirs to the kingdom promised to those who love him. And if you behave as I have suggested, it is the poor man that you are insulting. Look around you. Isn’t it the rich who are always trying to “boss” you, isn’t it the rich who drag you into litigation? Isn’t it usually the rich who blaspheme the glorious name by which you are known?
Do they not blaspheme that worthy name by which ye are called?
Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
Do they not blaspheme the good name by which you have been called?
Do they themselves not blaspheme the good name of the one to whom you belong?
And all too often they are the ones who laugh at Jesus Christ, whose noble name you bear.
Listen, dear friends. Isn’t it clear by now that God operates quite differently? He chose the world’s down-and-out as the kingdom’s first citizens, with full rights and privileges. This kingdom is promised to anyone who loves God. And here you are abusing these same citizens! Isn’t it the high and mighty who exploit you, who use the courts to rob you blind? Aren’t they the ones who scorn the new name—“Christian”—used in your baptisms?
Do they not blaspheme that worthy name by which you are called?
Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the honorable name by which you were called?
Don’t they curse the good name of Yeshua, the name that was used to bless you?
Is it not they who blaspheme the noble name that was invoked over you?
Do they not blaspheme the good name by which you have been called?
Do they not blaspheme the fair name by which you have been called?
Is it not they who blaspheme the noble name that was invoked over you?
And they are the ones who speak against Jesus, who owns you.
Do they not blaspheme the good name of the one you belong to?
Aren’t they speaking evil things against the worthy name of Jesus? Remember, you belong to him.
Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the noble name of him to whom you belong?
Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the noble name of him to whom you belong?
Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called?
They speak against the name of Christ. And it was Christ Who called you.
Aren’t they the ones who slander Jesus Christ, whose noble name you bear?
Do they not speak evil of that good name after which you are named?
Is it not they who blaspheme the excellent name that was invoked over you?
Is it not they who blaspheme the excellent name that was invoked over you?
Is it not they who blaspheme the excellent name that was invoked over you?
Is it not they who blaspheme the excellent name that was invoked over you?
The rich are the ones who blaspheme the wonderful name which has been pronounced over you, aren’t they?
Do they not commit Chillul Hashem gidduf (blasphemy) against the Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach’s Shem Tov that has been named upon you?
Do they not blaspheme the worthy Name after which you are named?
Is it not they who blaspheme the honorable name which was invoked over you?
Is it not they who blaspheme that honorable name by which you are called?
Don’t they blaspheme the good name by which you were called?
Aren’t they the ones mocking the noble name of our God, the One calling us?
Don’t they blaspheme the honorable name by which you are called?
Are not they the ones who say wrong things about the good name you have?
Whether they blaspheme not the good name, that is called to help on you [that is in-called of you]?
do they not themselves speak evil of the good name that was called upon you?
