“Is not My word like as a fire?” saith the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
Is not my word like fire? saith Jehovah; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
“Is not My word like fire [that consumes all that cannot endure the test]?” says the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks the [most stubborn] rock [in pieces]?

“Is not my word like fire”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“and like a hammer that pulverizes rock?
Isn’t my word like fire and like a hammer that shatters rock? declares the Lord.
“Isn’t my word like fire,” asks Adonai, “like a hammer shattering rocks?
My words are a powerful fire; they are a hammer that shatters rocks.
Is not my word like a fire, saith Jehovah; and like a hammer [that] breaketh the rock in pieces?
Are not my words as a fire, saith the Lord: and as a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
Yes, the Lord says, “You must treat my message carefully, like a fire or like a hammer that can smash a rock.”
A message from me is like a fire that burns things. It is like a hammer that breaks a rock into pieces.’ That is what the Lord says.
Is not my word like a fire? declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?

My message is like a fire and like a hammer that breaks rocks in pieces.

“You prophets who do nothing but dream— go ahead and tell your silly dreams. But you prophets who have a message from me— tell it truly and faithfully. What does straw have in common with wheat? Nothing else is like God’s Decree. Isn’t my Message like fire?” God’s Decree. “Isn’t it like a sledgehammer busting a rock?

“Isn’t my word like fire or like a hammer that shatters a rock?” asks Yahweh.

“Is My word not like fire?” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer which shatters a rock?
“Is not My word like fire?” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer which shatters a rock?
Is not my word like fire, says the Lord, like a hammer shattering a rock?
Isn’t my message like a fire?” says the Lord. “Isn’t it like a hammer that smashes a rock?
My message is like a fire that purges dross. It is like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces. I, the Lord, so affirm it!
“My message is like fire,” announces the Lord. “It is like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces.
“Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?
‘Is not my word like fire,’ declares the Lord, ‘and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?

Whether my words be not as fire burning, saith the Lord, and as an hammer all-breaking a stone? (Be not my words like a burning fire, saith the Lord, and like a hammer breaking a stone to pieces?)
Is it not thus? My word [is] as a fire, An affirmation of Jehovah. And as a hammer -- it breaketh in pieces a rock.
