“Make ye him drunken, for he magnified himself against the Lord. Moab also shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.
Make ye him drunken; for he magnified himself against Jehovah: and Moab shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.
“Make him drunk, for he has become arrogant and magnified himself against the Lord [by denying Reuben’s occupation of the land the Lord had assigned him]. Moab also will wallow in his vomit, and he too shall become a laughingstock.
Make him drunk, for he has magnified himself against the Lord [by resisting Reuben’s occupation of the land the Lord had assigned him]. Moab also shall splash in his vomit, and he too shall be held in derision.
¶ Make ye him drunken: for he magnified himself against the Lord: Moab also shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.
“Make him drunk, because he has exalted himself against the Lord. Moab will wallow in his own vomit, and he will also become a laughingstock.
Get Moab drunk, because it has exalted itself above the Lord. Moab will collapse in its vomit and become the butt of every joke.
Because Mo’av boasted against Adonai, make him so drunk that he wallows in his own vomit and becomes a laughingstock.
People of Moab, you claim to be stronger than I am. Now I will tell other nations to make you drunk and to laugh while you collapse in your own vomit.
Make him drunken, for he magnified himself against Jehovah; and Moab shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.
Make him drunk, because he lifted up himself against the Lord: and Moab shall dash his hand in his own vomit, and he also shall be in derision.
“The people of Moab thought they were greater than the Lord. So punish them until they act like a drunk, falling and rolling around in his vomit. Then people will make fun of them.
‘Moab has turned against me. So my anger will make him like a person who is drunk. He will lie down in the place where he has been sick. People will laugh at him.
Make him drunk, because he exalted himself against the Lord. Moab will wallow in his vomit, and he will be ridiculed.
“Make him drunk, because he magnified himself against the Lord, so that Moab shall wallow in his vomit, and he too shall be held in derision.
“Make him drunk, because he magnified himself against the Lord, so that Moab shall wallow in his vomit, and he too shall be held in derision.
“The people of Moab thought they were greater than the Lord, so ·punish them until they act as if they are drunk [L make them drunk]. Moab will ·fall and roll around [wallow; or overflow] in its own vomit, and people will even make fun of it [C they would drink from the cup of wrath; 25:15–38; Is. 19:14; 51:17; Nah. 1:10].

The Lord said, “Make Moab drunk, because it has rebelled against me. Moab will roll in its own vomit, and people will laugh.
“Make him drunk, because he has exalted himself against the Lord. Moab will wallow in his own vomit, and he will also become a laughingstock.
“The people of Moab thought they were greater than the Lord. So punish Moab until they act as if they are drunk. Moab will fall and roll around in their own vomit. People will make fun of them.

Make him drunken, for he magnified himself against the LORD; Moab shall also wallow in his vomit, and be in derision.

Let her stagger and fall like a drunkard, for she has rebelled against the Lord. Moab shall wallow in her vomit, scorned by all.
“Turn Moab into a drunken lush, drunk on the wine of my wrath, a dung-faced drunk, filling the country with vomit—Moab a falling-down drunk, a joke in bad taste. Wasn’t it you, Moab, who made crude jokes over Israel? And when they were caught in bad company, didn’t you cluck and gossip and snicker?
Make him drunk, for he magnified himself against the Lord. Moab also will wallow in his vomit, and he also will be held in derision.

Make him drunk because he set himself over against the Lord; let Moab swim in his vomit and become a laughingstock.

“Make him drunk, for he has become arrogant toward the Lord; so Moab will wallow in his vomit, and he also will become a laughingstock.
Make Moab drunk, because she has placed herself on an equal level with the Lord. Let Moab wallow in her vomit and become a laughingstock.
“The people of Moab thought they were greater than the Lord, so punish them until they act as if they are drunk. Moab will fall and roll around in its own vomit, and people will even make fun of it.
“Moab has vaunted itself against me. So make him drunk with the wine of my wrath until he splashes around in his own vomit, until others treat him as a laughingstock.
“Moab’s people think they are better than I am. So let their enemies make them drunk. Let the people get sick and throw up. Let them roll around in the mess they have made. Let people laugh at them.
“Make her drunk, for she has defied the Lord. Let Moab wallow in her vomit; let her be an object of ridicule.
‘Make her drunk, for she has defied the Lord. Let Moab wallow in her vomit; let her be an object of ridicule.
“Make him drunk, Because he exalted himself against the Lord. Moab shall wallow in his vomit, And he shall also be in derision.
“Make him drunk, for he has become proud before the Lord. So Moab will roll in the food he has thrown up, and be laughed at.

Fill ye him greatly, for he is raised (up) against the Lord; and he shall hurtle down the hand of Moab in his spewing, and he also shall be into scorn.
Declare ye him drunk, For against Jehovah he made himself great And Moab hath stricken in his vomit, And he hath been for a derision -- even he.
