Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.
Gather up thy wares out of the land, O thou that abidest in the siege.
Gather up your bundle [of goods] from the ground, You who live under siege.
Gather up your bundle [of baggage] from the ground, O you who dwell under siege.
¶ Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.
Gather up your belongings from the ground, you who live under siege.
Pack your bags and get ready to leave, you who live under siege.
You who are living under the siege, gather your belongings off the ground,
I said to the people of Judah, “Gather your things; you are surrounded.
Gather up thy baggage out of the land, O inhabitress of the fortress.
Gather up thy shame out of the land, thou that dwellest in a siege.
Get everything you own and prepare to leave. People of Judah, you are trapped in the city, and the enemy is all around it.
Your enemies are all around and they are ready to attack you. So get all your things together. Prepare to leave your country.
Pick up your pack from the ground, you who live under siege.
Gather up your bundle from the ground, O you who dwell under siege!

Pick up your bags. You are being blockaded.
People of Jerusalem, you are under siege! Gather up your belongings.
Gather up your belongings from the ground, you who live under siege.
Get everything you own and prepare to leave. You people of Judah are trapped in the city by your enemies.
You who live under siege, Gather up your bundle from the ground.
¶ Gather up thy wares out of the lands, O inhabitant of the fortress.

Gather up your bundle from the ground, You who inhabit a land under siege!
Gather your bundle from the ground, you who live under the siege.’”
Pack your bags, he says. Get ready now to leave; the siege will soon begin.
Grab your bags, all you who are under attack. God has given notice: “Attention! I’m evicting Everyone who lives here, And right now—yes, right now! I’m going to press them to the limit, squeeze the life right out of them.” * * *
Gather up your wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.
Pick up your bags. You are being blockaded.

Gather up your belongings and depart from the land, you who are living under siege.
Get everything you own and prepare to leave, you people who are trapped by your enemies.

People of Jerusalem, your enemies have surrounded you. They are attacking you. So gather up what belongs to you. Then leave the land.
