And the land shall tremble and sorrow; for every purpose of the Lord shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without an inhabitant.
And the land trembleth and is in pain; for the purposes of Jehovah against Babylon do stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.
The land trembles and writhes [in pain and sorrow], For the purposes of the Lord against Babylon stand, To make the land of Babylon A desolation without inhabitants.
[I foresee this:] The land trembles and writhes in pain and sorrow, for the purposes of the Lord against Babylon stand—to make the land of Babylon a desolation without inhabitant.
And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the Lord shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.
The earth quakes and trembles because the Lord’s intentions against Babylon stand: to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.
The earth quakes and trembles because the Lord’s plans against Babylon are fulfilled: to reduce Babylon to a wasteland, with no one left in it.
The earth quakes and writhes, as Adonai’s designs against Bavel are fulfilled, to make the land of Bavel a ruin, with no one living there.
The earth twists and turns in torment, because I have decided to make Babylonia a desert where no one can live, and I won't change my mind.
And the land trembleth and is in pain; for the purposes of Jehovah against Babylon do stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.
And the land shall be in a commotion, and shall be troubled: for the design of the Lord against Babylon shall awake, to make the land of Babylon desert and uninhabitable.
The land shakes and moves as if it is in pain. It will shake when the Lord does to Babylon what he plans— to make the land of Babylon an empty desert, a place where no one will live.
The whole earth will shake with pain as the Lord punishes Babylonia. He will certainly do what he has decided to do. He will make the land of Babylonia as empty as a desert. Nobody will live there.
The land trembles and writhes because the Lord’s intentions against Babylon stand. He will make the land of Babylon a desolation with no one living there.
The land trembles and writhes in pain, for the Lord's purposes against Babylon stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.

And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for the device of the Lord shall be performed against Babel, to make the land of Babel waste without an inhabitant.
The earth trembles and writhes in pain. The Lord carries out his plans against Babylon to make Babylon a wasteland so that no one will live there.
The earth trembles and shakes because the Lord is carrying out his plan to make Babylonia a desert, where no one lives.
The earth quakes and trembles because the Lord’s intentions against Babylon stand: to make the land of Babylon an uninhabited desolation.
The land shakes and moves like it is in pain. It will shake when the Lord does what he planned to Babylon. His plan is to make Babylon into an empty desert. No one will live there.
The land quakes and writhes because the Lord’s purposes against Babylon stand firm, to make the land of Babylon a waste without inhabitants.
And the land shall tremble and sorrow for every thought of the LORD is confirmed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.
And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the Lord shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.
And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the Lord shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.
So the land quakes and writhes, For the purposes of Yahweh against Babylon stand, To make the land of Babylon A desolation without inhabitants.
And the land quakes and writhes, for the plans of Yahweh against Babylon stand, to make the land of Babylon as a horror, without inhabitant.
Babylon trembles and writhes in pain, for all that the Lord has planned against her stands unchanged. Babylon will be left desolate without a living soul.
“The very land trembles in terror, writhes in pain, terrorized by my plans against Babylon, Plans to turn the country of Babylon into a lifeless moonscape—a wasteland. Babylon’s soldiers have quit fighting. They hide out in ruins and caves— Cowards who’ve given up without a fight, exposed as cowering crybabies. Babylon’s houses are going up in flames, the city gates torn off their hinges. Runner after runner comes racing in, each on the heels of the last, Bringing reports to the king of Babylon that his city is a lost cause. The fords of the rivers are all taken. Wildfire rages through the swamp grass. Soldiers desert left and right. I, God-of-the-Angel-Armies, said it would happen: ‘Daughter Babylon is a threshing floor at threshing time. Soon, oh very soon, her harvest will come and then the chaff will fly!’ * * *
So the land trembles and sorrows, for the purposes of the Lord will be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.
The earth trembles and writhes in pain. Yahweh carries out his plans against Babylon to make Babylon a wasteland so that no one will live there.

So the land quakes and writhes, For the plans of the Lord against Babylon stand, To make the land of Babylon A desolation without inhabitants.

The land shakes and moves in pain, because the Lord will do what he has planned to Babylon. He will make Babylon an empty desert, where no one will live.
The earth will tremble and writhe in agony; for the Lord will carry out his plan. He plans to make the land of Babylonia a wasteland where no one lives.
The Babylonians tremble and shake with fear. My plans against them stand firm. I plan to destroy their land completely. Then no one will live there.
The land trembles and writhes, for the Lord’s purposes against Babylon stand— to lay waste the land of Babylon so that no one will live there.
