We have heard the pride of Moab (he is exceeding proud)— his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.

We have heard of the pride of Mo’av: so very proud he is! — presumptuous, proud, conceited; so haughty his heart!
I know about your pride, and how you strut and boast.
We have heard of the arrogance of Moab,—[he is] very proud;—his loftiness, and his arrogance, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.
We have heard the pride of Moab, he is exceeding proud: his haughtiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the loftiness of his heart.
“We have heard about Moab’s pride. He was very proud. He thought he was important. He was always bragging. He was very, very proud.”
We have heard that Moab's people are very proud. They think that they are better than everyone else. We know how much they boast.’
We have heard about the pride of Moab. He is very arrogant. He is smug, he is conceited, he is proud, and his heart is haughty.

Moab is very proud! I have heard how proud, arrogant, and conceited the people are, how much they think of themselves.
We have heard of Moab’s pride, great pride, indeed— his insolence, arrogance, pride, and haughty heart.
“We have heard that the people of Moab are proud and very conceited. They are proud and think they are important. They were very proud in their hearts.”

“We’ve all heard of Moab’s pride, that legendary pride, The strutting, bullying, puffed-up pride, the insufferable arrogance. I know”—God’s Decree—“his rooster-crowing pride, the inflated claims, the sheer nothingness of Moab. But I will weep for Moab, yes, I will mourn for the people of Moab. I will even mourn for the people of Kir-heres. I’ll weep for the grapevines of Sibmah and join Jazer in her weeping— Grapevines that once reached the Dead Sea with tendrils as far as Jazer. Your summer fruit and your bursting grapes will be looted by brutal plunderers, Lush Moab stripped of song and laughter. And yes, I’ll shut down the winepresses, stop all the shouts and hurrahs of harvest.

I have heard how proud the people of Moab are, I know how haughty they are. I have heard how arrogant, proud, and haughty they are, what a high opinion they have of themselves.
“We have heard all about Moab’s pride. We have heard how very proud they are. They think they are so much better than others. Their pride reaches deep down inside their hearts.
“We have heard of Moab’s pride— how great is her arrogance!— of her insolence, her pride, her conceit and the haughtiness of her heart.
