“For every head shall be bald and every beard clipped; upon all the hands shall be cuts and upon the loins sackcloth.
For every head is bald, and every beard clipped: upon all the hands are cuttings, and upon the loins sackcloth.
For every head is [shaven] bald and every beard cut off; there are cuts (slashes) on all the hands and sackcloth on the loins [all expressions of mourning].

The people of Moab mourn on the rooftops and in the streets. Men cut off their beards, people shave their heads; they make cuts on their hands and wear sackcloth. And it's all because I, the Lord, have shattered Moab like a jar that no one wants.
For every head is bald, and every beard clipped; upon all the hands are cuttings, and upon the loins sackcloth.
For every head shall be bald, and every beard shall be shaven: all hands shall be tied together, and upon every back there shall be haircloth.
Everyone has a shaved head. Everyone’s beard is cut off. Everyone’s hands are cut and bleeding. Everyone is wearing sackcloth around their waists.
All the men will be very upset. They will cut the hair off their heads and their faces. They will use knives to cut their hands. They will wear sackcloth as their clothes.

For why (on) each head shall be baldness, and each beard shall be shaved; in all hands shall be binding together (and all hands shall be cut and gouged), and an hair-shirt shall be on each back.
For every head [is] bald, and every beard diminished, On all hands cuttings, and on the loins -- sackcloth.
