In the north I am bringing great nations together. They will attack Babylon and capture it. The arrows they shoot are like the best soldiers, always finding their target.

Those nations will shoot many arrows at Babylon. Their arrows will be like soldiers who don’t come back from war with their hands empty.
I will call a group of strong nations from the north. They will join together to fight against Babylon. They will get ready to attack. They will come from the north and they will take power over Babylon. Their arrows will be like brave soldiers. They will kill everyone that they want to kill.
Watch, I will stir up and bring against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the land of the north. They will array themselves against her, and she will be taken away captive from there. Their arrows will be like those of a skilled warrior who does not return empty-handed.

I’m rallying a host of nations against Babylon. They’ll come out of the north, attack and take her. Oh, they know how to fight, these armies. They never come home empty-handed. Babylon is ripe for picking! All her plunderers will fill their bellies!” God’s Decree.
