The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, ‘No eye shall see me,’ and disguiseth his face.

“The eye of the adulterer waits for the twilight, Saying, ‘No eye will see me,’ And he covers his face.
The eye also of the adulterer waits for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me, and he puts a disguise upon his face.
The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.
The adulterer’s eye watches for twilight, thinking, “No eye will see me,” and he covers his face.

The eye of the adulterer too waits for twilight; he thinks, ‘No eye will see me’; but [to be sure], he covers his face.
Others wait for the dark, thinking they won't be seen if they sleep with the wife or husband of someone else.
And the eye of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me; and he putteth a covering on [his] face.
The eye of the adulterer observeth darkness, saying: No eye shall see me: and he will cover his face.
A man who commits adultery waits for the night to come. He thinks, ‘No one will see me,’ but still, he covers his face.
Adulterers wait until it is becoming dark. They think that no one will see them. They cover their faces so that no one will recognize them.
The eye of an adulterer keeps watch for twilight. He says, “No eye can get a good look at me.” He wears a mask over his face.
The eye of the adulterer also waits for the twilight, saying, ‘No eye will see me’; and he veils his face.
The eye of the adulterer also waits for the twilight, saying, ‘No eye will see me’; and he veils his face.
·Those who are guilty of adultery [L The eyes of the adulterer] watch for the ·night [dusk], thinking, ‘No ·one [L eye] will see us,’ and they keep their faces covered [Prov. 7:6–9].

Adulterers watch for twilight. They say, ‘No one is watching us,’ as they cover their faces.
The adulterer waits for twilight to come; he covers his face so that no one can see him.
The adulterer’s eye watches for twilight, thinking: No eye will see me; he covers his face.
The person who is guilty of adultery watches for the night. He thinks, ‘No one will see me.’ And he keeps his face covered.
The adulterer watches for twilight, saying, ‘No eye is watching me’ while he veils his face.
The eye of the adulterer waits for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me; and disguises his face.
The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.

And the eye of the adulterer waits for dusk, saying, ‘No eye will see me,’ and he places a covering on his face.
They are murderers who rise in the early dawn to kill the poor and needy; at night they are thieves and adulterers, waiting for the twilight ‘when no one will see me,’ they say. They mask their faces so no one will know them.
“Then there are those who avoid light at all costs, who scorn the light-filled path. When the sun goes down, the murderer gets up— kills the poor and robs the defenseless. Sexual predators can’t wait for nightfall, thinking, ‘No one can see us now.’ Burglars do their work at night, but keep well out of sight through the day. They want nothing to do with light. Deep darkness is morning for that bunch; they make the terrors of darkness their companions in crime.

The eye of the one who is not faithful in marriage waits for the evening, saying, ‘No one will see me.’ And he covers his face.
The adulterer waits for the twilight, saying, ‘No one will see me then.’ He hides his face so no one will know him.
The eye of the adulterer also waits for the twilight, saying, “No eye will see me”; and he disguises his face.
