Behold, He findeth occasions against me; He counteth me for His enemy.
Behold, he findeth occasions against me, He counteth me for his enemy;
‘Behold, God finds pretexts against me; He counts me as His enemy.
But behold, God finds occasions against me and causes of alienation and indifference; He counts me as His enemy.
Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
But he finds reasons to oppose me; he regards me as his enemy.
Notice that he invents arguments against me; he considers me his enemy,
Yet [God] finds pretexts for accusing me; he regards me as his enemy.
You claim that God has made you his enemy,
Lo, he findeth occasions of hostility against me, he counteth me for his enemy;
Because he hath found complaints against me, therefore he hath counted me for his enemy.
But God found an excuse to attack me. He treats me like an enemy.
But God has decided to punish me! He attacks me as if I am his enemy.
But look how God finds pretexts to oppose me. He treats me like his enemy.
Behold, he finds occasions against me, he counts me as his enemy,
Behold, he finds occasions against me, he counts me as his enemy,
But God has found ·fault [reason to be upset] with me; he ·considers me [thinks I am] his enemy.
Lo, he hath found occasions against me, and counted me for his enemy.
God is only looking for an excuse to attack me. He considers me his enemy.
But God finds excuses for attacking me and treats me like an enemy.
But He finds reasons to oppose me; He regards me as His enemy.
But God has found fault with me. He considers me his enemy.
Nevertheless, God has found a pretext to attack me; he considers me his enemy.
Behold, God sought occasions against me, he counts me for his enemy,
Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
Behold, He finds reasons for opposition against me; He counts me as His enemy.
Look, he finds fault against me; he reckons me as his enemy;
You say God is using a fine-tooth comb to try to find a single fault, and so to count you as his enemy.
“Here’s what you said. I heard you say it with my own ears. You said, ‘I’m pure—I’ve done nothing wrong. Believe me, I’m clean—my conscience is clear. But God keeps picking on me; he treats me like I’m his enemy. He’s thrown me in jail; he keeps me under constant surveillance.’
Behold, He finds occasions against me, He counts me for His enemy;
God is only looking for an excuse to attack me. He considers me his enemy.
Yet he invents pretexts against me and counts me as an enemy.
Behold, He invents criticisms against me; He counts me as His enemy.
‘Behold, He invents pretexts against me; He counts me as His enemy.
Yet God continues to invent excuses against me and regards me as his enemy.
But God has found fault with me; he considers me his enemy.
Yet God finds occasions with me; he regards me as his enemy.
But God has found fault with me. He thinks I’m his enemy.
Yet God has found fault with me; he considers me his enemy.
Yet God has found fault with me; he considers me his enemy.
Yet He finds occasions against me, He counts me as His enemy;
But see, God finds things against me. He thinks of me as someone who hates Him.
God is picking a quarrel with me, and he considers me his enemy.
Look, he finds occasions against me, he counts me as his enemy;
Look, he finds occasions against me, he counts me as his enemy;
Look, he finds occasions against me, he counts me as his enemy;
Look, he finds occasions against me; he counts me as his enemy;
Yet He findeth tenuot (occasions) against me, He counteth me for his oyev,
Behold, he finds occasions against me, he counts me as his enemy;
Behold, he finds occasions against me, he counts me as his enemy;
Yet, He has found fault with me; He considers me His enemy.
But oh! God has come up with reasons to accuse me; now He considers me His enemy.
Behold, he finds occasions against me. He counts me for his enemy.
For God found quarrels in me, therefore he deemed me (an) enemy to himself. (But for God found quarrels with me, and so he judged me as an enemy to himself.)
Lo, occasions against me He doth find, He doth reckon me for an enemy to Him,
