Job 4:4
Thy words have upheld him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.
Thy words have upholden him that was falling, And thou hast made firm the feeble knees.
“Your words have helped the one who was stumbling to stand, And you have strengthened feeble knees.
Your words have held firm him who was falling, and you have strengthened the feeble knees.

Your words have steadied the one who was stumbling and braced the knees that were buckling.
Your words have raised up the falling; you’ve steadied failing knees.
your words have supported those who were stumbling, and you have strengthened the weak-kneed.
have guided and encouraged many in need.
Thy words have upholden him that was stumbling, and thou hast braced up the bending knees:
Thy words have confirmed them that were staggering, and thou hast strengthened the trembling knees:
Your words helped those who were ready to fall. You gave strength to those who could not stand by themselves.
With your words, you have saved people from danger. You have helped people who are in trouble to be brave.
Your words have raised up people who were stumbling, and you have given support to buckling knees.
Your words have upheld him who was stumbling, and you have made firm the feeble knees.
Your words have upheld him who was stumbling, and you have made firm the feeble knees.
Your words have ·comforted [L lifted up] those who ·fell [stumbled], and you have strengthened those ·who could not stand [L with weak knees].
Thy words have confirmed him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the weak knees.
When someone stumbled, you lifted him up with your words. When knees were weak, you gave them strength.
When someone stumbled, weak and tired, your words encouraged him to stand.
Your words have steadied the one who was stumbling and braced the knees that were buckling.
Your words have comforted those who fell. And you have given strength to those who could not stand.
A word from you has supported those who have stumbled, and has strengthened faltering knees.

In the past you have told many a troubled soul to trust in God and have encouraged those who are weak or falling, or lie crushed upon the ground or are tempted to despair.
Then Eliphaz from Teman spoke up: “Would you mind if I said something to you? Under the circumstances it’s hard to keep quiet. You yourself have done this plenty of times, spoken words that clarify, encouraged those who were about to quit. Your words have put stumbling people on their feet, put fresh hope in people about to collapse. But now you’re the one in trouble—you’re hurting! You’ve been hit hard and you’re reeling from the blow. But shouldn’t your devout life give you confidence now? Shouldn’t your exemplary life give you hope?
Your words have raised up him who was falling, and you have fortified the feeble knees.
When someone stumbled, you lifted him up with your words. When knees were weak, you gave them strength.
Your words have upheld the stumbler; you have strengthened faltering knees.
Your words have helped the stumbling to stand, And you have strengthened feeble knees.

Your words have supported those who were staggering, and you have made firm their faltering knees.
Your words have comforted those who fell, and you have strengthened those who could not stand.
