Job 7:8
The eye of him that hath seen me shall see me no more; Thine eyes are upon me, and I am not.
The eye of him that seeth me shall behold me no more; Thine eyes shall be upon me, but I shall not be.
“The eye of him who sees me [now] will see me no more; Your eyes will be upon me, but I will not be.
The eye of him who sees me shall see me no more; while your eyes are upon me, I shall be gone.

The eye of anyone who looks on me will no longer see me. Your eyes will look for me, but I will be gone.
The eye that sees me now will no longer look on me; your eyes will be on me, and I won’t exist.
The eye that now sees me will see me no more; while your eyes are on me, I will be gone.
I will vanish from sight, and no one, including you, will ever see me again.

Nor shall the sight of man behold me: thy eyes are upon me, and I shall be no more.
Those who see me now will never see me again. You watch me for a while, but then I am gone.
People who can see me now will not see me any more. You will look for me, but I will not be there.
The eyes that see me now will no longer watch me. Your eyes will look for me, but I will not be there.
The eye of him who sees me will behold me no more; while your eyes are on me, I shall be gone.

“God, don’t forget that I’m only a wisp of air! These eyes have had their last look at goodness. And your eyes have seen the last of me; even while you’re looking, there’ll be nothing left to look at. When a cloud evaporates, it’s gone for good; those who go to the grave never come back. They don’t return to visit their families; never again will friends drop in for coffee.

Neither the sight of man shall behold me; but thine eyes be in me (but thy eyes be upon me), and I shall not be in deadly life, that is, I shall not abide (alive).
