For a nation has come up upon my land, strong and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.
For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number; his teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the jaw-teeth of a lioness.
For a [pagan and hostile] nation has invaded My land [like locusts], Mighty and without number; Its teeth are the teeth of a lion, And it has the fangs of a lioness.
For a [heathen and hostile] nation [of locusts, illustrative of a human foe] has invaded My land, mighty and without number; its teeth are the teeth of a lion, and it has the jaw teeth of a lioness.

A strong army has marched into my land. It is powerful, and great in numbers. It has the teeth of a strong animal. And the teeth are long and dangerous.
A nation has come up into my land, powerful and without number. It has teeth like a lion and fangs like a lioness.
For a nation has come up against my land, powerful and beyond number; its teeth are lions' teeth, and it has the fangs of a lioness.

Yea, a nation cometh upon my land, mighty and without number, whose teeth are like the teeth of a lion, and he hath the jaws of a great lion.
A strong nation attacked my land. It has too many soldiers to count. They have teeth like lions. They have fangs like grown lions.
An army of locusts has attacked our land; they are powerful and too many to count; their teeth are as sharp as those of a lion.
For a nation has invaded My land, powerful and without number; its teeth are the teeth of a lion, and it has the fangs of a lioness.
A powerful nation has come into my land. It has too many soldiers to count. It has teeth like a lion. And it has fangs like a female lion.

A vast army of locusts covers the land. It is a terrible army too numerous to count, with teeth as sharp as those of lions!
Sober up, you drunks! Get in touch with reality—and weep! Your supply of booze is cut off. You’re on the wagon, like it or not. My country’s being invaded by an army invincible, past numbering, Teeth like those of a lion, fangs like those of a tiger. It has ruined my vineyards, stripped my orchards, And clear-cut the country. The landscape’s a moonscape.
For a nation powerful and innumerable has invaded my land; its teeth are like the teeth of a lion, like the fangs of a lioness.

For why a folk strong and unnumberable ascended on my land. The teeth thereof be as the teeth of a lion, and the cheek teeth thereof be as of a whelp of a lion. (For a people, strong and innumerable, came upon my land. Their teeth be like the teeth of a lion; and their molars be like that of a lion’s cub.)
