But all these things will they do unto you for My name’s sake, because they know not Him that sent Me.

But they will do all this to you [inflict all this suffering on you] because of [your bearing] My name and on My account, for they do not know or understand the One Who sent Me.
But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.
But they will do all these things to you on account of my name, because they don’t know the one who sent me.
The world will do all these things to you on account of my name, because it doesn’t know the one who sent me.
But they will do all this to you on my account, because they don’t know the One who sent me.
People will do to you exactly what they did to me. They will do it because you belong to me, and they don't know the one who sent me.
But they will do all these things to you on account of my name, because they have not known him that sent me.
But they will do all these things to you because of My name, because they do not know the One having sent Me.
But all these things they will do to you for my name's sake: because they know not him who sent me.
They will do to you whatever they did to me, because you belong to me. They don’t know the one who sent me.

“This I command you, love one another! If the world hates you, you know that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own. But because you do not belong to the world and I have chosen you out of it, the world will hate you. Do you remember what I said to you, ‘The servant is not greater than his master’? If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you as well, but if they have followed my teaching, they will also follow yours. They will do all these things to you as my disciples because they do not know the one who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have been guilty of sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. The man who hates me, hates my Father as well. If I had not done among them things that no other man has ever done, they would not have been guilty of sin, but as it is they have seen and they have hated both me and my Father. Yet this only fulfils what is written in their Law—‘They hated me without a cause’.

“They are going to do all these things to you because of the way they treated me, because they don’t know the One who sent me. If I hadn’t come and told them all this in plain language, it wouldn’t be so bad. As it is, they have no excuse. Hate me, hate my Father—it’s all the same. If I hadn’t done what I have done among them, works no one has ever done, they wouldn’t be to blame. But they saw the God-signs and hated anyway, both me and my Father. Interesting—they have verified the truth of their own Scriptures where it is written, ‘They hated me for no good reason.’
But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.
