When the army of ‘Amon attacked Isra’el, the leaders of Gil‘ad went to fetch Yiftach from the territory of Tov
The leaders of the Gilead clan decided to ask a brave warrior named Jephthah son of Gilead to lead the attack against the Ammonites. Even though Jephthah belonged to the Gilead clan, he had earlier been forced to leave the region where they had lived. Jephthah was the son of a prostitute, but his half brothers were the sons of his father's wife. One day his half brothers told him, “You don't really belong to our family, so you can't have any of the family property.” Then they forced Jephthah to leave home. Jephthah went to the country of Tob, where he was joined by a number of men who would do anything for money. So the leaders of Gilead went to Jephthah and said,
And when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob.
And as they pressed hard upon them, the ancients of Galaad went to fetch Jephte out of the land of Tob to help them:
The Ammonites were fighting against Israel, so the elders in Gilead went to Jephthah. They wanted Jephthah to leave the land of Tob and come back to Gilead.
When the Ammonites attacked, the leaders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah from the land of Tob.
No sooner did the Ammonites wage war against the Israelites than the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah back from Tob.
And when the Ammonites made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah from the land of Tob.
And when the Ammonites made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah from the land of Tob.
When the ·Ammonites [L sons/descendants of Ammon] made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to Jephthah to bring him back from Tob.
And when the children of Ammon fought with Israel, the Elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob.
When the Ammonites attacked Israel, Gilead’s leaders went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob.
When this happened, the leaders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah back from the land of Tob.
When the Ammonites made war with Israel, the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob.
The Ammonites made war against Israel. At that time the elders of Gilead came to Jephthah. They wanted him to come back to Gilead.
When this happened, the elders of Gilead went to the territory of Tob to find Jephthah.
And when the sons of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob;
And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob:
And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob:
So it happened that as the sons of Ammon fought against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob;
When the Ammonites made war with Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah from the land of Tob.
The leaders of Gilead sent for Jephthah,
Some time passed. And then the Ammonites started fighting Israel. With the Ammonites at war with them, the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob. They said to Jephthah: “Come. Be our general and we’ll fight the Ammonites.”
When the Ammonites waged war with Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah back from the land of Tob.
When the Ammonites attacked Israel, Gilead’s leaders went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob.
As soon as the Ammonites were at war with Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah from the land of Tob.
When the sons of Ammon fought against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob;
When the sons of Ammon fought against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob;
When the Ammonites fought against Israel, the elders of Israel went to bring back Jephthah from the land of Tob.
When the Ammonites made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to Jephthah to bring him back from Tob.
When the Ammonites attacked, the leaders of Gilead asked Jephthah to come back from the land of Tob.
So the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob.

And so it was, when the people of Ammon made war against Israel, that the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob.
When the men of Ammon fought against Israel, the leaders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob.
When the Ammonites attacked, the elders of Gilead sent for Jephthah in the land of Tob.
And when the Ammonites made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah from the land of Tob.
And when the Ammonites made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah from the land of Tob.
And when the Ammonites made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah from the land of Tob.

And it was so, that when the Bnei Ammon made war against Yisroel, the ziknei Gil‘ad went to fetch Yiftach out of Eretz Tov;
And when the Ammonites made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah from the land of Tob;
And when the Ammonites made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah from the land of Tob;
When the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah from the land of Tob.
When the Ammonites attacked Israel, the leaders of Gilead asked Jephthah to return from Tob to be their commander and lead them against the Ammonite invaders.
When the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah out of the land of Tob.
and when they continued sharply (their enmities), the greater men in birth of Gilead, went to take into the help of themselves Jephthah from the land of Tob; (and when they continued their sharp enmities, the men of great age, that is, the elders, of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob to help them;)
and it cometh to pass, when the Bene-Ammon have fought with Israel, that the elders of Gilead go to take Jephthah from the land of Tob;
