She took off her widow’s garb to raise up the afflicted in Israel. She anointed her face with fragrant oil;
She laid aside her widow’s garb to raise up the oppressed in Israel. She anointed her face with perfume,
For she put away her widow’s clothing to exalt the oppressed in Israel. She anointed her face with perfume;
For she put away her widow’s clothing to exalt the oppressed in Israel. She anointed her face with perfume;
For she put away her widow’s clothing to exalt the oppressed in Israel. She anointed her face with perfume;
“For she put away her widow’s clothing to exalt the oppressed in Israel. She anointed her face with perfume;
For their mighty one did not fall by the hands of the young men, nor did the sons of the Titans smite him, nor did tall giants set upon him; but Judith the daughter of Merar′i undid him with the beauty of her countenance.
For their mighty one did not fall by the hands of the young men, nor did the sons of the Titans smite him, nor did tall giants set upon him; but Judith the daughter of Merar′i undid him with the beauty of her countenance.
But the Lord Almighty annoyed (or harmed) him, and betook him into the hands of a woman, and she shamed [or confounded] him.
