Joining them was an assorted group of people, so many that they couldn’t be numbered. They were like swarms of locusts, like the dust of the earth.
Other troops went with them. There were so many that it was impossible to count them—they were like a swarm of locusts or like grains of sand in the desert.
A huge, irregular force, too many to count, like locusts, like the dust of the earth, went along with them.
Accompanying them was a motley crowd like a swarm of locusts or the dust particles of the earth—a multitude too numerous to count.
