You did those things in the past, and other things before these, and other things that have happened since. You intended the current situation and the things yet to come. What you planned has occurred.
For all thy ways are prepared, and in thy providence thou hast placed thy judgments.
Your hand guided all that happened then, and all that happened before and after. You have planned it all—what is happening now, and what is yet to be. Your plans have always been carried out.
“It is you who were the author of those events and of what preceded and followed them. The present and the future you have also planned. Whatever you devise comes into being.
“O God, my God, heed also the prayer of a widow. You were the source of these events and those that occurred before and those that followed. You have planned what is happening now and what will occur in the future. Whatever you devise comes to pass.
‘For you have done these things and those that went before and those that followed. You have designed the things that are now, and those that are to come. What you had in mind has happened;
