Letter of Jeremiah 2
Print
When you enter Babylon, you will be there a long time, as long as seven generations. Afterward, I will bring you out from there peacefully.
Because of the sins that you have committed before God, you will be taken to Babylon as exiles by Nebuchadnezzar, king of the Babylonians.
Therefore when you have come to Babylon you will remain there for many years, for a long time, up to seven generations; after that I will bring you away from there in peace.
Because of the sins which you have committed before God, you will be taken to Babylon as captives by Nebuchadnez′zar, king of the Babylonians.
For the sins which ye sinned before God, ye shall be led (away) (as) prisoners [or (as) captives] into Babylon, of (or by) Nebuchadnezzar, king of (the) Babylonians.
