Letter of Jeremiah 50

After such events as this, the idols, made of wood and covered in gold and silver, will be recognized as fake. It will be clear to the nations and to the rulers that they aren’t gods but human creations. There’s nothing divine about them.
Since they are made of wood and overlaid with gold and silver, it will afterwards be known that they are false.
It will be manifest to all the nations and kings that they are not gods but the work of human hands and that there is no work of God in them.
Since they are made of wood and overlaid with gold and silver, it will afterward be known that they are false.
For why when those be of tree (or of wood), and of stone, and of gold, and of silver, it shall be known afterward [For why when they be treen (or wooden), and stone, and engolded, and ensilvered, it shall be known afterward, for they be false,]
