“Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘When a man makes a special vow [consecrating himself or a member of his family], he shall be valued according to your [established system of] valuation of people belonging to the Lord [that is, the priest accepts from the man making the vow a specified amount of money for the temple treasury in place of the actual person].
Say to the Israelites, When a man shall make a special vow of persons to the Lord at your valuation,
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the Lord by thy estimation.
“Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When someone makes a special vow to the Lord that involves the assessment of people,
Speak to the Israelites and say to them: When a person makes a solemn promise to the Lord involving the value of a person,
“Tell the people of Isra’el, ‘If someone makes a clearly defined vow to Adonai to give him an amount equal to the value of a human being,

Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them, When any one devoteth [anything] by a vow, the persons shall be for Jehovah according to thy valuation.
Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: The man that shall have made a vow, and promised his soul to God, shall give the price according to estimation.
“Tell the Israelites: You might promise to give someone to the Lord as a servant. The priest must set a price for that person.
‘Speak to Israel's people. Tell them this. A person might give another person to the Lord for a special promise.
“Speak to the Israelites and say this to them.” When a person makes a special vow to the Lord which is based on the value of different classes of people,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man shall make a vow of a person unto the Lord, by thy estimation,
“Tell the Israelites: If any of you makes a special vow ⌞to give a person⌟ to the Lord, you may give money instead of the person.

“Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When someone makes a special vow to the Lord that involves the assessment of people,
“Tell the people of Israel: ‘Someone might make a special promise to the Lord. He might promise to give himself or another person as a servant to the Lord. That person will then begin to serve the Lord in a special way. The priest must set a certain price for that person. That is the price that would have to be paid to free the person from his special promise to the Lord.
“Tell the Israelis that when a person makes a special vow based on the appropriate value of people who belong to the Lord,
Speak unto the sons of Israel and say unto them, When someone shall make a special vow unto the LORD, according to the estimation of the persons that are to be redeemed, thus shall be thy estimation:
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the Lord by thy estimation.

The Lord said to Moses, “Tell the people of Israel that when a person makes a special vow to give himself to the Lord, he shall give these payments instead:
God spoke to Moses: He said, “Speak to the People of Israel. Tell them, If anyone wants to vow the value of a person to the service of God, set the value of a man between the ages of twenty and sixty at fifty shekels of silver, according to the Sanctuary shekel. For a woman the valuation is thirty shekels. If the person is between the ages of five and twenty, set the value at twenty shekels for a male and ten shekels for a female. If the person is between one month and five years, set the value at five shekels of silver for a boy and three shekels of silver for a girl. If the person is over sixty, set the value at fifteen shekels for a man and ten shekels for a woman. If anyone is too poor to pay the stated amount, he is to present the person to the priest, who will then set the value for him according to what the person making the vow can afford.

“Tell the Israelites: If any of you makes a special vow to give a person to Yahweh, you may give money instead of the person.

“Speak to the Israelites and tell them, ‘When a man makes a special votive offering based on the conversion value of a person to the Lord,
“Speak to the Israelites. Tell them, ‘Suppose someone makes a special promise to set a person apart to serve the Lord. Here is how much it will cost to set that person free from the promise to serve.

“Say to the sons of Israel, ‘When a man makes a special promise, you will decide upon the worth of this person for the Lord.
