Luke 9:25

For what is a man advantaged if he gain the whole world, and lose himself or be cast away?
For what is a man profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose or forfeit his own self?
For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success], and loses or forfeits himself?
For what does it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and ruins or forfeits (loses) himself?
For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
For what does it benefit someone if he gains the whole world, and yet loses or forfeits himself?
What advantage do people have if they gain the whole world for themselves yet perish or lose their lives?
What will it benefit a person if he gains the whole world but destroys or forfeits his own life?
What will you gain, if you own the whole world but destroy yourself or waste your life?
For what shall a man profit if he shall have gained the whole world, and have destroyed, or come under the penalty of the loss of himself?
For what is a person profited— having gained the whole world, but having lost or having forfeited himself ?
For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, and cast away himself?
It is worth nothing for you to have the whole world if you yourself are destroyed or lost.
A person may get everything in the whole world for himself. But if he loses his life, it would not be any good for him. He will have destroyed himself in the end.
After all, what will it benefit a man if he gains the whole world, but destroys himself or is lost?
For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself?
For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself?
·It is worthless [L What good/profit/benefit is it…?] to ·have [gain] the whole world if they themselves are destroyed or lost.
For what advantageth it a man, if he win the whole world, and destroy himself, or lose himself?
What good does it do for people to win the whole world but lose their lives by destroying them?
Will you gain anything if you win the whole world but are yourself lost or defeated? Of course not!
What is a man benefited if he gains the whole world, yet loses or forfeits himself?
It is worth nothing for a man to have the whole world, if he himself is destroyed or lost.
What profit will a person have if he gains the whole world, but destroys himself or is lost?
Then he spoke to them all. “If anyone wants to follow in my footsteps, he must give up all right to himself, carry his cross every day and keep close behind me. For the man who wants to save his life will lose it, but the man who loses his life for my sake will save it. For what is the use of a man gaining the whole world if he loses or forfeits his own soul? If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him, when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and the holy angels. I tell you the simple truth—there are men standing here today who will not taste death until they have seen the kingdom of God!”
For what is a man advantaged if he gains the whole world, having destroyed himself or having suffered the loss of himself?
For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself?
For what is a person benefited if he gains the whole world but loses or forfeits himself?
and what profit is there in gaining the whole world when it means forfeiting one’s self?
Then he told them what they could expect for themselves: “Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat—I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I’ll show you how. Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self. What good would it do to get everything you want and lose you, the real you? If any of you is embarrassed with me and the way I’m leading you, know that the Son of Man will be far more embarrassed with you when he arrives in all his splendor in company with the Father and the holy angels. This isn’t, you realize, pie in the sky by and by. Some who have taken their stand right here are going to see it happen, see with their own eyes the kingdom of God.”
For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet loses or forfeits himself?

For what does a man have if he gets all the world and loses or gives up his life?
And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but are yourself lost or destroyed?

What does it profit them if they gain the whole world, but lose or forfeit themselves?
For what does it profit them if they gain the whole world but lose or forfeit themselves?
What good will it do you if you win the entire world, but lose or forfeit your own self?
For what is the revach (profit) to a ben Adam who has gained the whole of the Olam Hazeh, but has lost his own self, forfeited his neshamah?
"For what does it benefit a man if he wins the whole world and destroys himself, or loses himself?
For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself?
For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself?
“For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses or forfeits himself?
Listen, what good does it do you if you gain everything—if the whole world is in your pocket—but then your own life slips through your fingers and is lost to you?
For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits his own self?
What good will it do a man if he gets the whole world for himself but loses his life or spoils it?
And what profiteth a man, if he win all the world, and lose himself, and do impairing of himself. [Forsooth what profiteth it to a man, if he win all the world, forsooth lose himself, and do impairing to himself.]
for what is a man profited, having gained the whole world, and having lost or having forfeited himself?
