And it came to pass, as He sat at meat with them, He took bread and blessed it, and broke and gave it to them.
And it came to pass, when he had sat down with them to meat, he took the bread and blessed; and breaking it he gave to them.
And it happened that as He reclined at the table with them, He took the bread and blessed it, and breaking it, He began giving it to them.
And it occurred that as He reclined at table with them, He took [a loaf of] bread and praised [God] and gave thanks and asked a blessing, and then broke it and was giving it to them
And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
It was as he reclined at the table with them that he took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.

Then they said to each other, “Weren’t our hearts glowing while he was with us on the road, and when he made the scriptures so plain to us?”

They came to the edge of the village where they were headed. He acted as if he were going on but they pressed him: “Stay and have supper with us. It’s nearly evening; the day is done.” So he went in with them. And here is what happened: He sat down at the table with them. Taking the bread, he blessed and broke and gave it to them. At that moment, open-eyed, wide-eyed, they recognized him. And then he disappeared.

Then they saw who he was. They knew him. And then suddenly they could not see him any more.
And it was done, while he sat at the meat with them, he took bread, and blessed, and brake, and took to them [and gave to them].
And it came to pass, in his reclining (at meat) with them, having taken the bread, he blessed, and having broken, he was giving to them,
