“O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Ye offspring of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
You brood of vipers, how can you speak good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart.
You offspring of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil (wicked)? For out of the fullness (the overflow, the superabundance) of the heart the mouth speaks.
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Brood of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart.
Children of snakes! How can you speak good things while you are evil? What fills the heart comes out of the mouth.
You snakes! How can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what overflows from the heart.
You are a bunch of evil snakes, so how can you say anything good? Your words show what is in your hearts.
Offspring of vipers! how can ye speak good things, being wicked? For of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Brood of vipers! How are you able to speak good things, being evil? For the mouth speaks out of the abundance of the heart—
O generation of vipers, how can you speak good things, whereas you are evil? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
You snakes! You are so evil. How can you say anything good? What people say with their mouths comes from what fills their hearts.
You are like the children of dangerous snakes. You cannot say good things when your thoughts are bad. When you speak, your words show what is in your mind.
You offspring of vipers! How can you say anything good, since you are evil? For what the mouth speaks flows from the heart.
You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
You ·snakes [T brood/offspring of vipers]! You are evil people, so how can you say anything good? [L For] The mouth speaks the things that ·are in [overflow from] the heart.
O generations of vipers, how can you speak good things, when ye are evil? For of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
You poisonous snakes! How can you evil people say anything good? Your mouth says what comes from inside you.
You snakes—how can you say good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
Brood of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart.
You snakes! You are evil people! How can you say anything good? The mouth speaks the things that are in the heart.
You children of serpents! How can you say anything good when you are evil? The mouth speaks about what overflows from the heart.
“You serpent’s brood, how can you say anything good out of your evil hearts? For a man’s words depend on what fills his heart. A good man gives out good—from the goodness stored in his heart; a bad man gives out evil—from his store of evil. I tell you that men will have to answer at the day of judgment for every careless word they utter—for it is your words that will acquit you, and your words that will condemn you.”
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart.
Offspring of vipers! How are you able to say good things when you are evil? For from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
You brood of snakes! How could evil men like you speak what is good and right? For a man’s heart determines his speech.
“You have minds like a snake pit! How do you suppose what you say is worth anything when you are so foul-minded? It’s your heart, not the dictionary, that gives meaning to your words. A good person produces good deeds and words season after season. An evil person is a blight on the orchard. Let me tell you something: Every one of these careless words is going to come back to haunt you. There will be a time of Reckoning. Words are powerful; take them seriously. Words can be your salvation. Words can also be your damnation.”
O generation of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
You offspring of snakes! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart.
You brood of vipers! How can your speech be virtuous when you yourselves are evil? For the mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart.
You snakes! You are evil people, so how can you say anything good? The mouth speaks the things that are in the heart.
Offspring of vipers! How are you able to say anything good, since you are evil? For the mouth speaks from what fills the heart.
You nest of poisonous snakes! How can you who are evil say anything good? Your mouths say everything that is in your hearts.
You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

O offspring of vipers, how can you speak good things when you yourselves are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
You brood of vipers! How can you speak good things, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

“You’re a family of snakes! How can you say good things when you’re bad inside? What the mouth speaks is what fills the heart.
You banim of nechashim (sons of snakes), how are you able to speak tovot (good things), for out of the abundance of the lev (heart) the mouth speaks.

You brood of vipers! how can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
You brood of vipers! how can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
You brood of vipers! How can you who are evil say anything good? For from the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.
You children of snakes, you who are evil—how could you possibly say anything good? For the mouth simply shapes the heart’s impulses into words.
You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
You family of snakes! How can you say good things? You are wrong! The mouth will say what is in the heart.
Ye generation of adders, how be ye able to speak good things, when ye be evil? For the mouth speaketh of the plenty of the heart. [Ye generation of adders, how may ye speak good things, when ye be evil? Soothly the mouth speaketh of the great abundance of the heart.]
`Brood of vipers! how are ye able to speak good things -- being evil? for out of the abundance of the heart doth the mouth speak.
