So Moses, Aaron, and the leaders of the community registered the Kohathites by their clans and their ancestral families,
So Moses, Aaron, and the chiefs of the community enrolled the Kohathites by their clans and their households,
(S: ii) Moshe, Aharon and the community leaders took a census of the descendants of K’hat by their clans and families,
Moses, Aaron, and the other Israelite leaders obeyed the Lord and counted the Levi tribe by families and clans, to find out how many men there were between the ages of 30 and 50 who could work at the sacred tent. There were 2,750 Kohathites, 2,630 Gershonites, and 3,200 Merarites, making a total of 8,580. Then they were all assigned their duties.
And Moses and Aaron and the princes of the assembly numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and according to their fathers' houses,
So Moses and Aaron and the princes of the synagogue reckoned up the sons of Caath, by their kindreds and the houses of their fathers,
Moses, Aaron, and the leaders of the Israelites counted the Kohathites. They counted them by families and family groups.
So Moses, Aaron and the people's leaders recorded the names of Kohath's descendants in their clans and in their families.

¶ Then Moses and Aaron and the princes of the Congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites, by their families and by the houses of their fathers,
Moses, Aaron, and the leaders of the community registered the Kohathites by their families and households.
Following the Lord's command, Moses, Aaron, and the leaders of the community took a census of the three Levite clans, Kohath, Gershon, and Merari. They did this by subclans and families and registered all the men between the ages of thirty and fifty who were qualified to work in the Tent of the Lord's presence, as follows: Clan Number Kohath 2,750 Gershon 2,630 Merari 3,200 Total: 8,580

And Moses and Aaron mustered the leaders of the community according to the house of their families,
So Moses and Aaron and the other leaders took a census of the Kohath division,
Moses, Aaron, and the leaders of the congregation counted the Kohathites by clan and family. All the men from thirty to fifty years of age who came to serve in the work in the Tent of Meeting, counted by clans, were 2,750. This was the total from the Kohathite clans who served in the Tent of Meeting. Moses and Aaron counted them just as God had commanded through Moses.

So Moses, Aaron and the princes of the community counted the sons of the Kohathites according to their families and their ancestral households.
So Moses, Aaron, and all the heads of the community did as the Lord had instructed. They organized the Kohathites by the clans and the extended families, ages 30–50, who were eligible to work on behalf of the congregation tent and found that there were 2,750.

Therefore Moses and Aaron and the princes of the synagogue, numbered the sons of Kohath, by the kindreds, and houses of their fathers, (And so Moses and Aaron and the leaders of the congregation, listed, or registered, the Kohathites, by the kindreds, and houses of their fathers,)
And Moses numbereth -- Aaron also, and the princes of the company -- the sons of the Kohathite, by their families, and by the house of their fathers,
