And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, “Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain.

¶ And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain:
When Moses sent them to scout out the land of Canaan, he told them, “Go up this way to the Negev, then go up into the hill country.
When Moses sent them out to explore the land of Canaan, he said to them, “Go up there into the arid southern plain and into the mountains.
Moshe sent them to reconnoiter the land of Kena‘an, instructing them, “Go on up to the Negev and into the hills,
Before Moses sent them into Canaan, he said: After you go through the Southern Desert of Canaan, continue north into the hill country
And Moses sent them to search out the land of Canaan, and said to them, Go up this way by the south and go up into the hill-country,
These are the names of the men, whom Moses sent to view the land: and he called Osee the son of Nun, Josue.
When Moses was sending them out to explore Canaan, he said, “Go through the Negev and then into the hill country.

Moses sent them out with these instructions: “Go northward into the hill country of the Negeb,
When Moses sent them off to scout out Canaan, he said, “Go up through the Negev and then into the hill country. Look the land over, see what it is like. Assess the people: Are they strong or weak? Are there few or many? Observe the land: Is it pleasant or harsh? Describe the towns where they live: Are they open camps or fortified with walls? And the soil: Is it fertile or barren? Are there forests? And try to bring back a sample of the produce that grows there—this is the season for the first ripe grapes.”

And Moses sendeth them to spy the land of Canaan, and saith unto them, `Go ye up this [way] into the south, and ye have gone up the mountain,
