He that rebuketh a man shall afterwards find more favor than he that flattereth with his tongue.

Correct someone, and later they will thank you. That is much better than just saying something to be nice.
If you warn someone that he has done a wrong thing, he will thank you in the end. He will like you more than if you only say sweet words to him.
In the end a person who corrects someone will find more favor than a person with a flattering tongue.
