Proverbs 8:5
O ye simple, understand wisdom; and ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
O ye simple, understand prudence; And, ye fools, be of an understanding heart.
“O you naive or inexperienced [who are easily misled], understand prudence and seek astute common sense; And, O you [closed-minded, self-confident] fools, understand wisdom [seek the insight and self-discipline that leads to godly living].
O you simple and thoughtless ones, understand prudence; you [self-confident] fools, be of an understanding heart.
O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
Learn to be shrewd, you who are inexperienced; develop common sense, you who are foolish.
Understand skill, you who are naive. Take this to heart, you fools.
You who don’t direct your lives, understand caution; as for you, you fools, get some common sense!
Good sense and sound judgment can be yours.
O ye simple, understand prudence; and ye foolish, understand sense.
O little ones, understand subtilty, and ye unwise, take notice.
You who are ignorant, learn to be wise. You who are foolish, get some common sense.
You who are silly, learn to be wise! You who are fools, learn to understand what is right.
You gullible people, get good judgment. You fools, take this to heart.
O simple ones, learn prudence; O fools, learn sense.
O simple ones, learn prudence; O fools, learn sense.
You who are ·uneducated [simpleminded; immature; naive], ·seek wisdom [understand prudence]. You who are foolish, ·get understanding [L take this to heart].
O ye foolish men, understand wisdom, and ye, O fools, be wise in heart.
You gullible people, learn how to be sensible. You fools, get a heart that has understanding.
Are you immature? Learn to be mature. Are you foolish? Learn to have sense.
Learn to be shrewd, you who are inexperienced; develop common sense, you who are foolish.
You who do not know better, get the ability to think. You who are foolish, get understanding.
Understand prudence, you naïve people; and gain an understanding heart, you foolish ones.
O ye simple, understand prudence; and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

Learn prudence, O simple ones; fools, learn intelligence.
“Listen, men!” she calls. “How foolish and naive you are! Let me give you understanding. O foolish ones, let me show you common sense!
Do you hear Lady Wisdom calling? Can you hear Madame Insight raising her voice? She’s taken her stand at First and Main, at the busiest intersection. Right in the city square where the traffic is thickest, she shouts, “You—I’m talking to all of you, everyone out here on the streets! Listen, you idiots—learn good sense! You blockheads—shape up! Don’t miss a word of this—I’m telling you how to live well, I’m telling you how to live at your best. My mouth chews and savors and relishes truth— I can’t stand the taste of evil! You’ll only hear true and right words from my mouth; not one syllable will be twisted or skewed. You’ll recognize this as true—you with open minds; truth-ready minds will see it at once. Prefer my life-disciplines over chasing after money, and God-knowledge over a lucrative career. For Wisdom is better than all the trappings of wealth; nothing you could wish for holds a candle to her.

You who are childish, get some good sense. You who are foolish, set your hearts on getting it.
You who are simple, gain prudence; you who are foolish, set your hearts on it.

O child-like ones, learn to use wisdom. O fools, make your mind understand.
You simple people, use good judgment. You foolish people, show some understanding.
O simple ones, learn prudence; acquire intelligence, you who lack it.

Little children, that is, little of wit, understand ye wisdom; and ye unwise men, perceiveth in heart. (Ye of little intelligence, understand ye wisdom; and ye who be unwise, think in your hearts.)
