Disappoint and confuse all who want to kill me. Turn away and disgrace all who want to hurt me.

Deliver me in thy justice, and rescue me. Incline thy ear unto me, and save me.
People are trying to kill me. Please disappoint them. Humiliate them! They want to hurt me. Make them run away in shame.
Stop the people who want to kill me, so that they become ashamed and confused. Chase the people who want to hurt me, so that they run away in shame.
May those who seek my life be put to shame and disgrace. May all who desire to harm me be turned back and disgraced.

May those who seek my life be ashamed and confused; may those who desire my harm be driven back and humiliated.

Graciously rescue me, God! Come quickly to help me, Lord!
