Psalm 36:2
Print
For he flattereth himself in his own eyes until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, That his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.
For he flatters and deceives himself in his own eyes Thinking that his sinfulness will not be discovered and hated [by God].
For he flatters and deceives himself in his own eyes that his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.
For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
For with his flattering opinion of himself, he does not discover and hate his iniquity.
because in their own eyes they are slick with talk about their guilt ever being found out and despised.
Crime speaks to the wicked. I perceive this in my heart; before his eyes there is no fear of God.
They like themselves too much to hate their own sins or even to see them.
For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, [even] when his iniquity is found to be hateful.
For they shall shortly wither away as grass, and as the green herbs shall quickly fall.
They lie to themselves. They don’t see their own faults, so they are not sorry for what they do.
He is too proud to think about his sin, so he does not hate it.
because he flatters himself in his own eyes too much to notice his guilt and to hate it.
For he flatters himself in his own eyes that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated.
For he flatters himself in his own eyes that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated.
They ·think too much of themselves [L flatter themselves in their own eyes] so they don’t ·see [discover; find] their sin and ·hate [or change] it.
For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, while his iniquity is found worthy to be hated.
He flatters himself and does not hate or ⌞even⌟ recognize his guilt.
Because they think so highly of themselves, they think that God will not discover their sin and condemn it.
for in his own eyes he flatters himself too much to discover and hate his sin.
He thinks too much of himself. He doesn’t see his sin and hate it.
He flatters himself too much to discover his transgression and hate it.
For he flatters himself in his own eyes until his iniquity is found to be hateful.
For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
For it flatters him in his eyes For one to discover his iniquity and hate it.
For he flatters himself in his eyes, hating to detect his iniquity.
Instead, in their conceit, they think they can hide their evil deeds and not get caught.
The God-rebel tunes in to sedition— all ears, eager to sin. He has no regard for God, he stands insolent before him. He has smooth-talked himself into believing That his evil will never be noticed. Words gutter from his mouth, dishwater dirty. Can’t remember when he did anything decent. Every time he goes to bed, he fathers another evil plot. When he’s loose on the streets, nobody’s safe. He plays with fire and doesn’t care who gets burned.
For they flatter themselves in their own eyes, that their iniquity cannot be found out and hated.
He flatters himself and does not hate or even recognize his guilt.
Sin directs the heart of the wicked man; his eyes are closed to the fear of God.
For it flatters him in his own eyes Concerning the discovery of his wrongful deed and the hatred of it.
For it flatters him in his own eyes Concerning the discovery of his iniquity and the hatred of it.
Sin speaks to the wicked man in his heart; in his eyes there is no fear of God.
They think too much of themselves so they don’t see their sin and hate it.
for he is too proud to recognize and give up his sin.
They praise themselves so much that they can’t see their sin or hate it.
In their own eyes they flatter themselves too much to detect or hate their sin.
In their own eyes they flatter themselves too much to detect or hate their sin.
For he flatters himself in his own eyes, When he finds out his iniquity and when he hates.
For he makes much of himself in his own eyes. So his sin is not known and hated.
In their blind conceit, they cannot see how wicked they really are.
For they flatter themselves in their own eyes that their iniquity cannot be found out and hated.
For they flatter themselves in their own eyes that their iniquity cannot be found out and hated.
For they flatter themselves in their own eyes that their iniquity cannot be found out and hated.
For they flatter themselves in their own eyes that their iniquity cannot be found out and hated.
For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his avon (iniquity) be found to be hateful.
For he flatters himself in his own eyes that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated.
For he flatters himself in his own eyes that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated.
An oracle of Transgression—within my heart, to the wicked one: “There is no fear of God before his eyes.
For they flatter themselves— convinced their sin will remain secret, undiscovered, and so unhated.
For he flatters himself in his own eyes, too much to detect and hate his sin.
For he did guilefully in the sight of God; that his wickedness be found to (be) hatred. (But he did deceitfully before God; until his wickedness was found to be hateful.)
For he made [it] smooth to himself in his eyes, To find his iniquity to be hated.
