Truly my soul waiteth upon God; from Him cometh my salvation.
For the Chief Musician; after the manner of Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. My soul waiteth in silence for God only: From him cometh my salvation.
To the Chief Musician; to Jeduthun [Ethan, the noted musician, founder of an official musical family]. A Psalm of David. For God alone my soul waits in silence; From Him comes my salvation.
For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation.
To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
For the choir director: according to Jeduthun. A psalm of David. I am at rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him.
Only in God do I find rest; my salvation comes from him.
For the leader. Set in the style of Y’dutun. A psalm of David:
(A psalm by David for Jeduthun, the music leader.) Only God can save me, and I calmly wait for him.
To the chief Musician. On Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. Upon God alone doth my soul rest peacefully; from him is my salvation.

To the director, Jeduthun. A song of David. I must calm down and turn to God; only he can rescue me.
This is a song that David wrote for the music leader, Jeduthun. I will be patient as I wait for God to help me. He is the only one who can make me safe.
For the choir director. According to Jeduthun. A psalm by David. My soul rests quietly in God alone. My salvation is from him.
To the choirmaster: according to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.

For the director of music. For Jeduthun [C a Levitical musician; 1 Chr. 16:41–42; 25:1, 6; 2 Chr. 5:12]. A psalm of David. I ·find rest [wait quietly] in God; only he can ·save me [give me victory].
This Psalm partly containeth meditation, whereby David encourageth himself to trust in God against the assaults of temptations.  And because our minds are easily drawn from God by the allurements of the world, he sharply reproveth this vanity, to the intent he might cleave fast to the Lord. To the excellent Musician Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. Yet my soul keepeth silence unto God; of him cometh my salvation.
For the choir director; according to Jeduthun; a psalm by David. My soul waits calmly for God alone. My salvation comes from him.
I wait patiently for God to save me; I depend on him alone.
For the choir director: according to Jeduthun. A Davidic psalm. I am at rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him.
For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A song of David. I wait patiently for God. Only he can save me.
To the Director: According to Jeduthun’s style. A Davidic Psalm. My soul rests quietly only when it looks to God; from him comes my deliverance.
To the Overcomer, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. ¶ Only in God does my soul rest; from him comes my saving health.
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.

For the music director, on Jeduthun. A psalm of David. Only for God my soul waits in silence. From him is my salvation.
I stand silently before the Lord, waiting for him to rescue me. For salvation comes from him alone.
God, the one and only— I’ll wait as long as he says. Everything I need comes from him, so why not? He’s solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul, An impregnable castle: I’m set for life.
For the Music Director. According to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. My soul waits in silence on God alone; from Him comes my salvation.
For the choir director; according to Jeduthun; a psalm by David. My soul waits calmly for Elohim alone. My salvation comes from him.
For the leader; ‘al Jeduthun. A psalm of David.
My soul waits in silence for God alone; From Him comes my salvation.
My soul waits in silence for God only; From Him is my salvation.
For the director. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David.
For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David. I find rest in God; only he can save me.
For the music director, Jeduthun; a psalm of David. For God alone I patiently wait; he is the one who delivers me.
For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David. It is surely true that I find my rest in God. He is the God who saves me.
Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.

My soul is quiet and waits for God alone. He is the One Who saves me.
For Jeduthun, the choir director: A psalm of David. I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him.

To victory over Jeduthun, the psalm of David. Whether my soul shall not be subject to God; for mine health is of him. (To victory, to Jeduthun, the song of David. Surely my soul shall be made subject under God; for my salvation, or my deliverance, is from him.)
