if I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy),
If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me (Yea, I have delivered him that without cause was mine adversary;)
If I have done evil to him who was at peace with me, Or without cause robbed him who was my enemy,
If I have paid back with evil him who was at peace with me or without cause have robbed him who was my enemy,
If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
if I have done harm to one at peace with me or have plundered my adversary without cause,
if I have repaid a friend with evil or oppressed a foe for no reason—
Adonai my God, if I have caused this, if there is guilt on my hands,
I have not betrayed a friend or had pity on an enemy who attacks for no reason.
If I have rewarded evil to him that was at peace with me; (indeed I have freed him that without cause oppressed me;)
O Lord my God, if I have done this thing, if there be iniquity in my hands:
I have done nothing to hurt a friend or to help his enemies.
Lord, my God, if I have done a wrong thing, then let my enemies chase me and catch me. If I have done a bad thing against a friend, let my enemies catch me. If I have helped a friend's enemy to attack him, let my enemies catch me! If I am guilty of any of these things, let my enemies knock me down to the ground. They should leave me there, so that I lie as a dead person in the dirt. Selah.

if I have repaid my friend with evil or plundered my enemy without cause,
if I have repaid my friend with evil or plundered my enemy without cause,
Have I done wrong to ·my friend [L the one at peace with me] or stolen without reason from my enemy?
If I have rewarded evil unto him that had peace with me, (yea I have delivered him that vexed me without cause.)
if I have paid back my friend with evil or rescued someone who has no reason to attack me—
O Lord, my God, if I have wronged anyone, if I have betrayed a friend or without cause done violence to my enemy— if I have done any of these things—
if I have done harm to one at peace with me or have plundered my adversary without cause,
Have I done wrong to my friend? Have I stolen from my enemy?
if I have rewarded those who did me good with evil, if I have plundered my enemy without justification,
if I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me, then let my persecutor escape without retribution.
If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
if I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
If I have rewarded evil to him who is at peace with me, Or have plundered my adversary without cause,
if I have repaid my ally with harm, or if I have plundered my enemy without cause,
if I were paying back evil for good or unjustly attacking those I dislike.
God, if I’ve done what they say— betrayed my friends, ripped off my enemies— If my hands are really that dirty, let them get me, walk all over me, leave me flat on my face in the dirt.

If I have repaid evil to him who was at peace with me, Or have plundered my enemy without cause,
if I have done wrong to him who was at peace with me, or without a reason have robbed him who worked against me,
if I have betrayed a friend or plundered my enemy without cause,
if I have repaid my ally with harm or plundered my foe without cause,

If I have recompensed with evil him that held out shalom unto me; or, without cause plundered my opposers,
if I have requited my friend with evil or plundered my enemy without cause,
if I have requited my friend with evil or plundered my enemy without cause,
Adonai my God, if I have done this— if there is guilt on my hands,
If I have mistreated a friend, or if I have stolen from an adversary without just cause,
if I have rewarded evil to him who was at peace with me (yes, I have delivered him who without cause was my adversary),
if I yielded to men yielding to me evils, fall I by deserving void from mine enemies; (if I gave back evil to those who first did good to me, let me deservedly fall before my enemies;)
If I have done my well-wisher evil, And draw mine adversary without cause,
