Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid! Yea, we establish the law.
Do we then make the law of none effect through faith? God forbid: nay, we establish the law.
Do we then nullify the Law by this faith [making the Law of no effect, overthrowing it]? Certainly not! On the contrary, we confirm and establish and uphold the Law [since it convicts us all of sin, pointing to the need for salvation].
Do we then by [this] faith make the Law of no effect, overthrow it or make it a dead letter? Certainly not! On the contrary, we confirm and establish and uphold the Law.
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Do we then nullify the law through faith? Absolutely not! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
Do we then cancel the Law through this faith? Absolutely not! Instead, we confirm the Law.
Does it follow that we abolish Torah by this trusting? Heaven forbid! On the contrary, we confirm Torah.
Do we destroy the Law by our faith? Not at all! We make it even more powerful.
Do we then make void law by faith? Far be the thought: [no,] but we establish law.
Do we then nullify the Law through the faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law.
Do we, then, destroy the law through faith? God forbid: but we establish the law.
So do we destroy the law by following the way of faith? Not at all! In fact, faith causes us to be what the law actually wants.
What does this show us about God's Law which he gave to Moses? When we say that all people need to believe in Jesus, does that mean that God's Law has no purpose? No! When we believe in Jesus, we are showing the true purpose of God's Law.
So are we doing away with the law by this faith? Absolutely not! Instead, we are upholding the law.
Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
So do we ·destroy [nullify; annul] the law by ·following the way of faith [L faith]? ·No [Absolutely not; May it never be; v. 6]! ·Faith causes us to be what the law truly wants [L We uphold/establish/support the law; C living by faith captures the true spirit and purpose of the law; the law pointed out sin and the need for grace, thereby pointing to Christ].

Are we abolishing the laws in the Scriptures by this faith? That’s unthinkable! Rather, we are supporting these laws.
Does this mean that by this faith we do away with the Law? No, not at all; instead, we uphold the Law.
Do we then cancel the law through faith? Absolutely not! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
So do we destroy the law by following the way of faith? No! Faith causes us to be what the law truly wants.
Do we, then, abolish the Law by this faith? Of course not! Instead, we uphold the Law.
Are we then undermining the Law by this insistence on faith? Not a bit of it! We put the Law in its proper place.
Do we then make void the law through faith? No, in no wise; to the contrary, we establish the law.
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Do we then abolish the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law.
Therefore, do we nullify the law through faith? May it never be! But we uphold the law.
Well then, if we are saved by faith, does this mean that we no longer need obey God’s laws? Just the opposite! In fact, only when we trust Jesus can we truly obey him.
But by shifting our focus from what we do to what God does, don’t we cancel out all our careful keeping of the rules and ways God commanded? Not at all. What happens, in fact, is that by putting that entire way of life in its proper place, we confirm it.
Do we then make the law void through faith? God forbid! Instead, we establish the law.
Do we therefore nullify the law through · faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
Are we abolishing the laws in the Scriptures by this faith? That’s unthinkable! Rather, we are supporting these laws.
Are we then annulling the law by this faith? Of course not! On the contrary, we are supporting the law.
Do we then nullify the Law through faith? Far from it! On the contrary, we establish the Law.
Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law.
Are we thereby nullifying the Law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we are upholding the Law.
So do we destroy the law by following the way of faith? No! Faith causes us to be what the law truly wants.
Do we then nullify the law through faith? Absolutely not! Instead we uphold the law.
Does faith make the law useless? Not at all! We agree with the law.
Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.
Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.
Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.
Does this mean that we do away with the Law when we put our trust in Christ? No, not at all. It means we know the Law is important.
Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.
Do we then destroy the law through faith? God forbid. But we rather maintain the law.
Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
Do we then overthrow the law through this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
Do we then abolish the law through faith? Certainly not! Rather, we establish the law.
Does it follow that we abolish Torah and make it invalid through emunah? Chas v’shalom! Aderaba (to the contrary), we uphold the Torah.
Do we then make the Law of no effect through faith? Absolutely not! Rather, we establish the Law.
Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
Do we then nullify the Torah through faithfulness? May it never be! On the contrary, we uphold the Torah.
So are we trying to use faith to abolish the law? Absolutely not! In fact, we now are free to uphold the law as God intended.
Do we then nullify the law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish the law.
When we believe, does that make the law no good to us? No. That is not so. When we believe, we show that the law is right.
Destroy we therefore the law by faith? God forbid [Far be it]; but we stablish the law.
Law then do we make useless through the faith? let it not be! yea, we do establish law.
