Romans 3:7

For if the truth of God through my lie hath abounded more unto His glory, why am I also yet judged as a sinner?
But if the truth of God through my lie abounded unto his glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?
But [as you might say] if through my lie God’s truth was magnified and abounded to His glory, why am I still being judged as a sinner?
But [you say] if through my falsehood God’s integrity is magnified and advertised and abounds to His glory, why am I still being judged as a sinner?
For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
But if by my lie God’s truth abounds to his glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner?
But if God’s truth is demonstrated by my lie and it increases his glory, why am I still judged as a sinner?
“But,” you say, “if, through my lie, God’s truth is enhanced and brings him greater glory, why am I still judged merely for being a sinner?”
Since your lies bring great honor to God by showing how truthful he is, you may ask why God still says you are a sinner.
For if the truth of God, in my lie, has more abounded to his glory, why yet am *I* also judged as a sinner?
But if the truth of God abounded in my lie to His glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner?
For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie, unto his glory, why am I also yet judged as a sinner?
Someone might say, “When I lie, it really gives God glory, because my lie makes his truth easier to see. So why am I judged a sinner?”
Someone might also say, ‘When I tell lies, that shows how great and good God is. My lies show more clearly that God always says what is true. So God should not say that I am a bad person. He should not punish me.’
For example, someone might say, “If by my lie the truth of God increases all the more to his glory, why am I still being judged as a sinner?”
But if through my lie God's truth abounds to his glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?
But if through my lie God's truth abounds to his glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?
A person might say, “When I lie, it really ·gives him [L increases his] glory, because my lie shows God’s truth. So why am I ·judged [condemned as] a sinner?”
For if the verity of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory, why am I yet condemned as a sinner?
If my lie increases the glory that God receives by showing that God is truthful, why am I still judged as a sinner?
But what if my untruth serves God's glory by making his truth stand out more clearly? Why should I still be condemned as a sinner?
But if by my lie God’s truth is amplified to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?
A person might say, “When I lie, it really gives God glory, because my lie shows God’s truth. So why am I judged a sinner?”
For if through my falsehood God’s truthfulness glorifies him even more, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?
But if our wickedness advertises the goodness of God, do we feel that God is being unfair to punish us in return? (I’m using a human tit-for-tat argument.) Not a bit of it! What sort of a person would God be then to judge the world? It is like saying that if my lying throws into sharp relief the truth of God and, so to speak, enhances his reputation, then why should he repay me by judging me a sinner? Similarly, why not do evil that good may be, by contrast all the more conspicuous and valuable? (As a matter of fact, I am reported as urging this very thing, by some slanderously and others quite seriously! But, of course, such an argument is quite properly condemned.)
For if the truth of God has more abounded through my lie unto his glory, why even so am I also judged as a sinner?
For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
But if through my lie the truth of God abounded to His glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner?
But if by my lying, the truth of God abounded to his glory, why am I also still condemned as a sinner?
For he could not judge and condemn me as a sinner if my dishonesty brought him glory by pointing up his honesty in contrast to my lies.
It’s simply perverse to say, “If my lies serve to show off God’s truth all the more gloriously, why blame me? I’m doing God a favor.” Some people are actually trying to put such words in our mouths, claiming that we go around saying, “The more evil we do, the more good God does, so let’s just do it!” That’s pure slander, as I’m sure you’ll agree.
If through my lie the truth of God has abounded more to His glory, why am I still being judged as a sinner?
But if by my lie · God’s truthfulness · · abounds to · his glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?
If my lie increases the glory that God receives by showing that God is truthful, why am I still judged as a sinner?
But if God’s truth redounds to his glory through my falsehood, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?
But if through my lie the truth of God abounded to His glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner?
But if through my lie the truth of God abounded to His glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner?
But if, as a result of my falsehood, God demonstrates his truthfulness, to his greater glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?
A person might say, “When I lie, it really gives him glory, because my lie shows God’s truth. So why am I judged a sinner?”
For if by my lie the truth of God enhances his glory, why am I still actually being judged as a sinner?
Someone might argue, “When I lie, it becomes clearer that God is truthful. It makes his glory shine more brightly. Why then does he find me guilty of sin?”
Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?”
Someone might argue, ‘If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?’
For if the truth of God has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?
If my lies honor God by showing how true He is, why am I still being judged as a sinner?
“But,” someone might still argue, “how can God condemn me as a sinner if my dishonesty highlights his truthfulness and brings him more glory?”
If the truth of God appears more excellent through my lie, to his glory, why am I still judged as a sinner?
But if through my falsehood God’s truthfulness abounds to his glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?
But if through my falsehood God’s truthfulness abounds to his glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?
But if through my falsehood God’s truthfulness abounds to his glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?
But if through my falsehood God’s truthfulness abounds to his glory, why am I still being judged as a sinner?
But if God’s truthfulness grows all the greater and brings him glory in and through my falsehood, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?
"But if the Emes Hashem (truth of G-d) has by my sheker overflowed to His kavod (glory), why am I still judged as a rashah (an evildoer)?"
For if the truth of God has abounded more through my lie, unto His glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?
But if through my falsehood God’s truthfulness abounds to his glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?
But if through my falsehood God’s truthfulness abounds to his glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?
But if by my lie the truth of God abounds to His glory, why am I still judged as a sinner?
But if my lie serves only to point out God’s truth and bring Him glory, then why am I being judged for my sin?
For if the truth of God through my lie abounded to his glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?
Maybe I say what is not true. And that makes people praise God more because he is true. Then why does God still judge me and say I have done wrong?
For if the truth of God hath abounded in my lying, into the glory of him, what [and] yet am I deemed as a sinner?
for if the truth of God in my falsehood did more abound to His glory, why yet am I also as a sinner judged?
