Romans 6:17

But God be thanked that though ye were the servants of sin, now ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
But thanks be to God, that, whereas ye were servants of sin, ye became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching whereunto ye were delivered;
But thank God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed.
But thank God, though you were once slaves of sin, you have become obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed.
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
But thank God that, although you used to be slaves of sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching to which you were handed over,
But thank God that although you used to be slaves of sin, you gave wholehearted obedience to the teaching that was handed down to you, which provides a pattern.
By God’s grace, you, who were once slaves to sin, obeyed from your heart the pattern of teaching to which you were exposed;
You used to be slaves of sin. But I thank God that with all your heart you followed the example set forth in the teaching you received.
But thanks [be] to God, that ye were bondmen of sin, but have obeyed from the heart the form of teaching into which ye were instructed.
But thanks be to God that you were slaves of sin, but you obeyed from the heart the form of teaching to which you were delivered.
But thanks be to God, that you were the servants of sin, but have obeyed from the heart, unto that form of doctrine, into which you have been delivered.
In the past you were slaves to sin—sin controlled you. But thank God, you fully obeyed what you were taught.
At one time, you were slaves to sin. But then you received God's true message, and you were happy to obey it. I thank God because of that!
Thanks be to God that, although you used to be slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to the pattern of the teaching into which you were placed.
But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed,
But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed,
In the past ·sin controlled you [L you were slaves to sin]. But thank God, you ·fully obeyed [L obeyed from the heart] the ·things [accepted/orthodox teaching; L example/pattern of teaching] ·that you were taught [or that have claimed your allegiance; L to which you were delivered/entrusted].
But God be thanked, that ye have been the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart unto the form of the doctrine, whereunto ye were delivered.
You were slaves to sin. But I thank God that you have become wholeheartedly obedient to the teachings which you were given.
But thanks be to God! For though at one time you were slaves to sin, you have obeyed with all your heart the truths found in the teaching you received.
But thank God that, although you used to be slaves of sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching you were transferred to,
In the past you were slaves to sin—sin controlled you. But thank God, you fully obeyed the things that were taught to you.
But thank God that, though you were once slaves of sin, you became obedient from your hearts to that form of teaching with which you were entrusted!
Now, what shall we do? Shall we go on sinning because we have no Law to condemn us any more, but are living under grace? Never! Just think what it would mean. You belong to the power which you choose to obey, whether you choose sin, whose reward is death, or God, obedience to whom means the reward of righteousness. Thank God that you, who were at one time the servants of sin, honestly responded to the impact of Christ’s teaching when you came under its influence. Then, released from the service of sin, you entered the service of righteousness. (I use an everyday illustration because human nature grasps truth more readily that way.) In the past you voluntarily gave your bodies to the service of vice and wickedness—for the purpose of becoming wicked. So, now, give yourselves to the service of righteousness—for the purpose of becoming really good. For when you were employed by sin you owed no duty to righteousness. Yet what sort of harvest did you reap from those things that today you blush to remember? In the long run those things mean one thing only—death.
Thank God that, although ye were the slaves of sin, ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine unto which ye are delivered;
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching to which you were given over,
But thanks be to God that you were slaves of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart the pattern of teaching to which you were entrusted,
Thank God that though you once chose to be slaves of sin, now you have obeyed with all your heart the teaching to which God has committed you.
So, since we’re out from under the old tyranny, does that mean we can live any old way we want? Since we’re free in the freedom of God, can we do anything that comes to mind? Hardly. You know well enough from your own experience that there are some acts of so-called freedom that destroy freedom. Offer yourselves to sin, for instance, and it’s your last free act. But offer yourselves to the ways of God and the freedom never quits. All your lives you’ve let sin tell you what to do. But thank God you’ve started listening to a new master, one whose commands set you free to live openly in his freedom!
But thanks be to God, for you were slaves of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart that form of teaching to which you were entrusted,
But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient · from the heart to that pattern of teaching to which you were committed,
You were slaves to sin. But I thank God that you have become wholeheartedly obedient to the teachings which you were given.
But thanks be to God that, although you were once slaves of sin, you have become obedient from the heart to the pattern of teaching to which you were entrusted.
But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were entrusted,
But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed,
Once you were slaves of sin, but, thanks be to God, you have become obedient in your heart to that pattern of teaching to which you have been delivered.
In the past you were slaves to sin—sin controlled you. But thank God, you fully obeyed the things that you were taught.
But thanks be to God that though you were slaves to sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching you were entrusted to,
You used to be slaves of sin. But thank God that with your whole heart you obeyed the teachings you were given!
But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance.
But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance.
But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered.
At one time you were held by the power of sin. But now you obey with all your heart the teaching that was given to you. Thank God for this!
Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you.
But God be thanked that, though you were once the servants of sin, you have conformed with heart to the model of instruction unto which you were delivered.
But thanks be to God that you, having once been slaves of sin, have become obedient from the heart to the form of teaching to which you were entrusted,
But thanks be to God that you, having once been slaves of sin, have become obedient from the heart to the form of teaching to which you were entrusted,
But thanks be to God that you, having once been slaves of sin, have become obedient from the heart to the form of teaching to which you were entrusted,
But thanks be to God that you who were slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the form of teaching to which you were entrusted
Thank God that, though you once were slaves to sin, you have become obedient from the heart to the pattern of teaching to which you were committed.
But Baruch Hashem (Blessed be G-d) that you used to be avadim (slaves) of [slave master] Chet, but you gave your mishma’at shebalev (obedience from the heart) to the pattern of Torah (the pnimiyus Torah of Moshiach YESHAYAH 42:4) to which you were handed over.
Thanks be to God that, although you had been the servants of sin, you have obeyed (from the heart) the type of doctrine by which you were delivered.
But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed,
But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed,
But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching under which you were placed;
Thank God that your slavery to sin has ended and that in your new freedom you pledged your heartfelt obedience to that teaching which was passed on to you.
But thanks be to God, that, whereas you were bondservants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were delivered.
You were at one time slaves to wrong things. But I praise God that you obeyed what your teachers taught you. And you obeyed because you wanted to obey.
But I thank God, that ye were servants of sin; but ye have obeyed of heart into that form of teaching, in which ye be betaken.
and thanks to God, that ye were servants of the sin, and -- were obedient from the heart to the form of teaching to which ye were delivered up;
