Romans 8:6

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace,
For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:
Now the mind of the flesh is death [both now and forever—because it pursues sin]; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace [the spiritual well-being that comes from walking with God—both now and forever];
Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Now the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Spirit is life and peace.
The attitude that comes from selfishness leads to death, but the attitude that comes from the Spirit leads to life and peace.
Having one’s mind controlled by the old nature is death, but having one’s mind controlled by the Spirit is life and shalom.
If our minds are ruled by our desires, we will die. But if our minds are ruled by the Spirit, we will have life and peace.
For the mind of the flesh [is] death; but the mind of the Spirit life and peace.
For the way-of-thinking of the flesh is death, but the way-of-thinking of the Spirit is life and peace.
For the wisdom of the flesh is death; but the wisdom of the spirit is life and peace.
If your thinking is controlled by your sinful self, there is spiritual death. But if your thinking is controlled by the Spirit, there is life and peace.
People who let their human thoughts rule them will die. But people who think about what God's Spirit wants will have life with God. They will have peace inside themselves.
Now, the way the sinful flesh thinks results in death, but the way the spirit thinks results in life and peace.
For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
If people’s ·thinking is controlled by [or outlook/mind is set on] the ·sinful self [sinful nature; T flesh], ·there is [the result is] death. But if their ·thinking is controlled by [or outlook/mind is set on] the Spirit, ·there is [the result is] life and peace.
For the wisdom of the flesh is death: but the wisdom of the Spirit is life and peace,
The corrupt nature’s attitude leads to death. But the spiritual nature’s attitude leads to life and peace.
To be controlled by human nature results in death; to be controlled by the Spirit results in life and peace.
For the mind-set of the flesh is death, but the mind-set of the Spirit is life and peace.
If a person’s thinking is controlled by his sinful self, then there is death. But if his thinking is controlled by the Spirit, then there is life and peace.
To focus our minds on the human nature leads to death, but to focus our minds on the Spirit leads to life and peace.
The carnal attitude sees no further than natural things. But the spiritual attitude reaches out after the things of the spirit. The former attitude means, bluntly, death: the latter means life and inward peace. And this is only to be expected, for the carnal attitude is inevitably opposed to the purpose of God, and neither can nor will follow his laws for living. Men who hold this attitude cannot possibly please God.
For the prudence of the flesh is death, but the prudence of the Spirit, life and peace,
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,
For the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Spirit is life and peace,
Following after the Holy Spirit leads to life and peace, but following after the old nature leads to death
Those who think they can do it on their own end up obsessed with measuring their own moral muscle but never get around to exercising it in real life. Those who trust God’s action in them find that God’s Spirit is in them—living and breathing God! Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life. Focusing on the self is the opposite of focusing on God. Anyone completely absorbed in self ignores God, ends up thinking more about self than God. That person ignores who God is and what he is doing. And God isn’t pleased at being ignored.
To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace,
To set the mind on the flesh leads to death, but to set the · mind on the Spirit brings life and peace,
The corrupt nature’s attitude leads to death. But the spiritual nature’s attitude leads to life and peace.
The concern of the flesh is death, but the concern of the spirit is life and peace.
For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,
For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,
The desires of the flesh result in death, but the desires of the Spirit result in life and peace.
If people’s thinking is controlled by the sinful self, there is death. But if their thinking is controlled by the Spirit, there is life and peace.
For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace,
The thoughts of a person ruled by sin bring death. But the mind ruled by the Spirit brings life and peace.
The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
If your sinful old self is the boss over your mind, it leads to death. But if the Holy Spirit is the boss over your mind, it leads to life and peace.
So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
To be fleshly minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
Focus the mind on the flesh, and you’ll die; but focus it on the spirit, and you’ll have life, and peace.
For the way of thinking of the basar is mavet (death), whereas the way of thinking of the Ruach Hakodesh is Chayyim and Shalom.
For the wisdom of the flesh is death. But the wisdom of the Spirit is life and peace.
To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
For the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Ruach is life and shalom.
A mind focused on the flesh is doomed to death, but a mind focused on the Spirit will find full life and complete peace.
For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;
If you keep your mind on the things your bodies want to do, you will die. But if you keep your mind on the things the Spirit wants, you will live and have peace.
For the prudence of flesh is death; but the prudence of Spirit is life and peace.
for the mind of the flesh [is] death, and the mind of the Spirit -- life and peace;
