Susanna groaned. “I’m trapped! If I do this, it’s death; but if I don’t, I still won’t escape your plotting.
Susanna groaned and said, ‘I am completely trapped. For if I do this, it will mean death for me; if I do not, I cannot escape your hands.
Susanna groaned and said, “I am completely trapped. For if I do this, it will mean death for me; if I do not, I cannot escape your hands.
Susanna sighed deeply, and said, “I am hemmed in on every side. For if I do this thing, it is death for me; and if I do not, I shall not escape your hands.
And Susanna inwardly sorrowed, and said, Anguishes be to me on each side; for if I do this (thing), death is to me; forsooth if I do (it) not, I shall not escape your hands. [And Susanna inwardly sorrowed, and saith, Anguishes be to me on each side; forsooth if I shall do this thing, death is to me; soothly if I shall not do, I shall not escape your hands.]
