and say, “Bless you, young man, son of a good and generous father! What a terrible tragedy that such a righteous and charitable man has been made blind!” He embraced his relative Tobias and wept.
And Raguel went to him, and kissed him with tears, and weeping upon his neck, said: A blessing be upon thee, my son, because thou art the son of a good and most virtuous man.
Then he said, God bless you, my child. Your father is a good and noble man. What a terrible tragedy that such an honest and generous man should have lost his sight! He threw his arms around Tobias' neck and wept on his shoulder.
Then, finding words, he said, “A blessing upon you, son! You are the son of a good and noble father. What a terrible misfortune that a man so righteous and charitable has been afflicted with blindness!” He embraced his kinsman Tobiah and continued to weep.
“God bless you, my child. You are the son of a good and noble father. But how tragic it is that such an upright and charitable man has lost his sight!” He then embraced his kinsman Tobiah and wept.
He also spoke to him as follows, ‘Blessings on you, my child, son of a good and noble father! O most miserable of calamities that such an upright and beneficent man has become blind!’ He then embraced his kinsman Tobias and wept.
