The Wisdom of God

¹⁸ For the word of the cross is ^(A)foolishness to ^(B)those who ^[a]are perishing, but to us who ^[b]are being saved it is ^(C)the power of God.

²¹ For since in the wisdom of God ^(A)the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, ^(B)God was well-pleased through the ^(C)foolishness of the ^[a]message preached to ^(D)save those who believe.

²⁵ Because the ^(A)foolishness of God is wiser than men, and ^(B)the weakness of God is stronger than men.

¹⁴ But ^[a]a ^(A)natural man ^(B)does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are ^(C)foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually ^[b]appraised.

¹⁰ We are ^(A)fools for Christ’s sake, but ^(B)you are prudent in Christ; ^(C)we are weak, but you are strong; you are distinguished, but we are without honor.
