⁶ Then Jonathan said to the young man who was carrying his armor, “Come and let us cross over to the garrison of ^(A)these uncircumcised; perhaps the Lord will work for us, for ^(B)the Lord is not restrained to save by many or by few.”

¹¹ Then Asa ^(A)called to the Lord his God and said, “Lord, there is no one besides You to help in the battle between the powerful and those who have no strength; so help us, O Lord our God, ^(B)for we trust in You, and in Your name have come against this multitude. O Lord, You are our God; let not man prevail against You.”

¹⁵ and he said, “Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: thus says the Lord to you, ‘^(A)Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for ^(B)the battle is not yours but God’s.

⁷ But I will have ^(A)compassion on the house of Judah and ^(B)deliver them by the Lord their God, and will not deliver them by ^(C)bow, sword, battle, horses or horsemen.”

⁶ Then he ^[a]said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to ^(A)Zerubbabel saying, ‘^(B)Not by might nor by power, but by My ^(C)Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.
