³⁶ Now Joseph, a Levite of ^(A)Cyprian birth, who was also called ^(B)Barnabas by the apostles (which translated means Son of ^[a](C)Encouragement),

¹² And when he realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of ^(A)John who was also called Mark, where many were gathered together and ^(B)were praying.

²⁵ And ^(A)Barnabas and ^(B)Saul returned ^[a]from Jerusalem ^(C)when they had fulfilled their ^[b]mission, taking along with them ^(D)John, who was also called Mark.

³⁷ Barnabas wanted to take ^(A)John, called Mark, along with them also.

³⁹ And there occurred such a sharp disagreement that they separated from one another, and Barnabas took ^(A)Mark with him and sailed away to ^(B)Cyprus.
