⁵ It shall be when the Lord ^(A)brings you to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, which ^(B)He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, ^(C)that you shall ^[a]observe this rite in this month.

¹² “^(A)Then it shall come about, because you listen to these judgments and keep and do them, that the Lord your God will keep with you ^[a]His covenant and ^[b]His lovingkindness which He swore to your forefathers.
