⁸ So I have come down ^(A)to deliver them from the ^[a]power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a ^(B)good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of ^(C)the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite.

¹⁷ So ^(A)I said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of ^(B)the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite, to a land ^(C)flowing with milk and honey.”’

⁵ It shall be when the Lord ^(A)brings you to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, which ^(B)He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, ^(C)that you shall ^[a]observe this rite in this month.

⁸ See, I have placed the land before you; go in and possess the land which the Lord ^(A)swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to them and their ^[a]descendants after them.’

⁵ in order to confirm the ^(A)oath which I swore to your forefathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day.”’” Then I said, “^(B)Amen, O Lord.”
