14 (A)The peoples have heard, they tremble;
Anguish has gripped the inhabitants of Philistia.
15 “Then the (B)chiefs of Edom were dismayed;
(C)The leaders of Moab, trembling grips them;
(D)All the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away.
16 (E)Terror and dread fall upon them;
(F)By the greatness of Your arm they are motionless as stone;
Until Your people pass over, O Lord,
Until the people pass over whom You (G)have purchased.

and said to the men, “(A)I know that the Lord has given you the land, and that the (B)terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land have [a]melted away before you. 10 (C)For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the [b]Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and (D)what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon and Og, whom you [c]utterly destroyed. 11 When we heard it, (E)our hearts melted and no [d]courage remained in any man any longer because of you; for the (F)Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.
